How to reach Kitakami in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC

To reach Kitakami Island in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: The Teal Mask, you’ll need to head to the Academy after receiving a call from Jacq, and then talk to Briar, the teacher who will take you to the island.

Here’s everything you need to do to reach Kitakami island:

  1. Purchase The Teal Mask DLC and update the core game.
  2. Make sure you have triggered The Treasure Hunt event, and start completing a “road.”
  3. You will receive a call from Jacq, the teacher at the Academy.
  4. Go back to the Academy and meet Jacq and Briar.
  5. Talk to Briar and tell her you are ready to go.
  6. You will reach Kitakami Island.

Briar will be your exchange teacher and guide in your journey to the Kitakami Island.

You could say that the trip to Kitakami is a fourth Path in the Treasure Hunt quest, but, as the region is level-gated, we recommend you don’t travel there unless you have a full team of level 55 (+) Pokemon. As the wild Pokemon and Trainers in the region are pretty buffed.
