The Pokemon CompanyMass outbreaks are excellent for shiny hunting in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet but fans never found them exciting enough. Now, it looks like the Teal Mask DLC has updated these events, and players are impressed with the changes.
The Teal Mask DLC seems to have been warmly received by Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fans as the addition brought an intriguing storyline, challenging trainer battles, and updated shiny Pokemon graphics.
And it looks like the list is about to get longer as fans are pleased with a much-awaited change to Pokemon mass outbreaks after the DLC update, which has made them excited for these events.
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet players thrilled with “diverse” mass outbreaks
Reddit user ‘Flow-Fighter’ showed several shiny species caught in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and wrote: “Appreciating the update to outbreaks!” while also adding: “Thanks Game Freak!”
The DLC seems to have introduced a larger variety of Pokemon in mass outbreaks across the game and it looks like the community is pretty impressed as they called it a “welcome change.”
Users commented: “I’ve gotten outbreaks in Paldea that I had never seen before,” as well as “I’ve definitely noticed an improvement in my options.”
While this update hasn’t been officially announced by the Pokemon franchise, reports by several players seem to confirm the changes, as a player mentioned:
“They absolutely did increase diversity. It wasn’t announced but everyone is reporting an increase after the updates. It is a massive difference and is very noticeable.”
One notable addition has been the “outbreak of Authentic Sinistea, which was impossible before.” Another player replied, “Since the DLC drop I’ve had a new outbreak almost every day! Toxel! Scyther!! Vaporeon!!! Like OP, I am thrilled by the change and having a blast.”
But it looks like higher diversity in Pokemon species isn’t the only change as the update also seems to be a boon for shiny hunters. “I get a lot more diverse mons in Paldea and run into shinies a bit easier,” explained another player.
A player also managed to find the extremely rare shiny Dolliv without much effort: “I went to the Gym city with the Dolliv minigame and the very first group of Dolliv I checked had a shiny.”
This unannounced update seems to have made the gameplay more enjoyable for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players and it remains to be seen if the same stays in the Indigo Disk DLC.
