Pokemon Scarlet & Violet players call Kieran “superhuman” after DLC battle
The Pokemon CompanyKieran revealed his true intentions and hunger for power in the Indigo Disk DLC of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, but a certain “feat” by him concerning the Legendary Ogerpon has left trainers stunned.
After Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fans spotted several Easter Eggs regarding Kieran in the Teal Mask DLC, their suspicions were confirmed in the Indigo Disk DLC regarding his obsession with Ogerpon.
In the Blueberry Academy, Kieran makes himself strong enough to become the champion and the battle with him is a highly competitive bout, with him using powerful Pokemon such as Hydrapple.
But a strange detail from the battle with Kieran has caught the attention of the Pokemon community as it has taken many off-guard.
A Reddit post by user ‘KillJoy-Player’ showed the trainer using a Zoroark disguised as Ogerpon in their battle against Kieran in the Indigo Disk DLC of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and wrote: “So Kieran doesn’t react to an Ogerpon impostor (Zoroark on this case).”
The OP’s post is a reference to Kieran’s reaction if and when the protagonist brings an Ogerpon to the battlefield in the Indigo Disk DLC.
On seeing Ogerpon, Kieran yells: “You’ve got some nerve… Bringing out the ogre NOW of all times?!”
Seeing no such reaction from Kieran on facing a fake Ogerpon, fans were surprised how Kieran could identify if the opposing Kitakami Legendary was real or not.
A trainer confirmed this by commenting: “I led with two Zoruas one Hisuian and one Unova and so he was faced down with two Ogerpon! He didn’t react to either but lost his mind when the real ogre came out.”
One user asked: “Could it be because it was in the first slot? I feel like I’ve only seen him react on a switch-in, but I may be wrong” before another replied: “Nope, I already tried that and he didn’t react either.”
Kieran’s antics led fans to comment: “This implies that Kieran can see through a Zoroark illusion with his naked eye which is a superhuman feat,” and “This is the guy who spent his whole life obsessing over the Ogre. Of course he can tell when there’s an imposter.”
While Kieran leaves his shenanigans behind towards the end of your Blueberry journey, he has been an integral part of both DLCs and there’s a good chance that he may get involved in the Kitakami Epilogue.
