Archaludon is one of the new additions to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Indigo Disk DLC and fans are sparing no effort to get it on their teams quickly. Now, a few people have found some “peak” design details in the fan-favorite Pokemon.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players can find several new Pokemon in the Indigo Disk DLC, notably many Dragon-type species such as Hydrapple, Gouging Fire, Raging Bolt, and Archaludon.

Among the exciting additions to the game, Archaludon is arguably the strongest thanks to its 600 BST (base stat total), signature move, and Steel/Dragon-type combination.

But there’s another reason why fans love this evolution of Duraludon, and it’s the design of the Pokemon, with many finding the ‘staple remover‘ motif hilarious.

Now, as the community has played the Indigo Disk DLC, a few keen-eyed players have noticed some incredible design details on Archaludon that have left everyone in awe.

A user with the handle ‘StarlyCactus2’ shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) that showed the back of an Archaludon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

The OP captioned the post with: “This just made me realize Archaludon is also meant to look like a dragon maw from behind, holy PEAK that’s PEAK.”

Users were impressed with the detail as the OP stated: “It’s always cool stuff like this that makes me love modern Pokemon designs so much” before adding that the “creature designs are unmatched” in the franchise.

Funnily enough, many trainers insisted that the ‘dragon’s maw’ on Arcaludon still looked like a staple remover to them. However, one player had a fascinating tidbit to add.

“Its shiny colors is also the exact same colors of the Skyarrow Bridge,” they explained, referencing the bridge in the Unova region games of Gen 5. Fans should note that the Blueberry Academy in the DLC is located in the Unova region.

Unlike Duraludon, shiny Archaludon looks very different from its normal version.

This prompted a trainer to write: “It’s the Skyarrow Bridge in Unova AND a staple remover. 2 in 1” while many agreed it also looks like a dragon maw.

But regardless of what design elements Archaludon has, a good number of trainers called it “awesome” and one of them mentioned: “It looks so badass and peak, I love it so much.”

Whether it’s the competitive viability or design, Archaludon has surely got itself many fans in the Pokemon community.
