Is Dusk Mane or Dawn Wings Necrozma better in Pokemon Go?

Dawn Wings Necrozma is better in Pokemon Go, so you should choose it to upgrade with Stardust and Candies.

Both forms have the same stat distribution of 277 Attack, 220 Defense, and 200 HP, and also share the same base power for their signature moves. But, the wider neutral coverage and better Fast Move damage of Dawn Wings Necrozma’s Ghost-type attacks make it more powerful.

Best Dawn Wings Necrozma moveset

The best moves for Dawn Wings Necrozma for both PvP and PvE are Shadow Claw with Moongeist Beam and Dark Pulse.

Shadow Claw is among the best Fast Moves, boasting impressive damage output and excellent energy gains, helping it use the OP Moongeist Beam quickly. While this species has glaring double weaknesses to Dark and Ghost types, such threats are rare in the Go Battle League.

Dark Pulse is a cheaper move in terms of energy, so it helps bait shields while providing the same super-effective coverage. Most Ghost-type attackers tend to lack either offense or bulk, but Dawn Wings Necrozma has the perfect mix of both, making it a top-notch pick.

Best Dusk Mane Necrozma moveset

The best moves for Dusk Mane Necrozma are Metal Claw with Sunsteel Strike for PvE and Shadow Claw with Sunsteel Strike and Dark Pulse for PvP.

Metal Claw is a decent move in PvE but terrible in PvP, due to low damage and energy gains. It’s so bad that Dusk Mane Necrozma does better with Shadow Claw despite not getting STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus). It gets 10 handy resistances, making it a safe switch to most opponents in PvP.

In Raids, it dethrones Metagross as the best Steel-type attacker in the meta due to the sheer power of Sunsteel Strike. That said, its overall impact in battles is not as remarkable as Dawn Wings Necrozma.

Along with these powerful Legendaries, you can also catch several Ultra Beasts and the Mythical Marshadow in Pokemon Go Fest.
