Rainbow Six Siege is just about to wrap up its sixth year, bringing Y6S4, titled Operation High Calibre. Over the course of these six years, Ubisoft have introduced over 50 Operators, taking the total up to 62.

Operation High Calibre brings in the 62nd Operator, Thorn, and also makes changes to Outback, and introduces significant buffs and nerfs to Operators.

Here’s everything included in the Y6S4 Operation High Calibre update.

Rainbow Six Y6S is set to officially go live around three weeks after the TTS’ November 9 release, so expect the season to kick off at the end of November 2021.

The update is now live on the Technical Test Server, so anyone with access to the TTS can try out the new content.

New Rainbow Six Siege Y6S4 Operator: Thorn

Of course, a new season of Rainbow Six brings a brand-new Operator and in Operation High Calibre, it’s Thorn.

Thorn is the Rainbow Six Siege’s 31st Defender, and also the 62nd Operator overall. Hailing from Ireland, Thorn brings the brand-new UZK50Gi SMG and the Razorbloom Shell Unique Ability.

The Razorbloom Shell “sticks to a surface after it’s thrown by Thorn” and once it’s triggered, it “automatically propels a set of sharp blades in all direction,” killing anyone nearby. Thorn can also run a Deployable Shield or Barbed Wire Gadgets, the M870 Shotgun, and the 1911 TACOPS or C75 Auto handguns.

Vault in Fortnite

Vaults have returned to Fortnite in Chapter 3, Season 1, and you can some useful loot in them, so here are all the Vault locations along with how to open them.

Fortnite Chapter 3 brought a brand-new Battle Pass featuring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Spider-Man as unlockable skins, along with other fun additions like Spidey’s Web-Shooters.

Season 1 of the latest chapter has also brought back Vaults for players to explore. These often contain high-tier weapons and loot for you to collect so it’s worth searching for them on the map.

Here’s how you can find and open Vaults in Fortnite Chapter 3.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Vault locations

Fortnite Chapter 3 vault locations

There are seven vaults on the newly changed Fortnite Island. They are scattered in different areas and locating them can be difficult. You can check out those locations on the map above and we’ll go over each one of them.

Here are all the Fortnite Vault locations:

  1. Northwest of Logjam Lumberyard
  2. Next to the river northwest of Camp Cuddle
  3. Southwest of Greasy Grove
  4. Southeast of the lake in Coney Crossroads
  5. Northeast of The Daily Bugle
  6. On an island east of Sanctuary
  7. South of Condo Canyon

How to open Vaults in Fortnite

Vault in Fortnite

After you come across one of these vaults, you won’t be able to open them on your own. You’ll need to visit them while playing in Duos, Trios, or Squads. Your teammates will then help you open the group lock.

It’s worth keeping in mind that unlocking a Vault will create noise that might attract nearby enemies. So, we recommend staying prepared for a battle with some powerful weapons and gear.

You can then enter to collect some high-tier weapons and loot from the rare chests inside. There are also blue crystals known as Gem Fragments that you’ll be able to collect from each Vault.

How to slide in Fortnite Chapter 3

Fortnite’s newest mechanic that lets you slide across the map. Here’s how to do it, along with details on how to slide cancel.

Fortnite characters sliding

Epic Games added a slide mechanic in Fortnite Chapter 3, and here’s everything you need to know about it, including how to cancel slides during combat.

There are many changes to sort through in Fortnite Chapter 3. We have a new Battle Pass featuring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Spider-Man as unlockable skins, and some new mechanics to give players an advantage in battle.

One of these allows players to slide across the map while running. This feature has been a part of games like Apex Legends for a long time and is now finally in Fortnite. It’s also fairly easy to pull off during combat.

Here’s everything you need to know about sliding in Fortnite.

How to slide in Fortnite on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC

Fortnite character sliding

You can slide in Fortnite by running and pressing the crouch button. As we said before, this isn’t too difficult to do during combat, and you just need to know which button to press..

Here are the default slide buttons on all platforms:

  • PS4/ PS5: Press the right analogue stick down
  • Xbox One/ Xbox Series X: Press the right analogue stick down
  • Nintendo Switch: Press the right control stick down
  • PC: Press the CTRL key

While this is the default crouch button, it’s important to note that this may not apply if you have changed it in your keybinding settings. So you’ll need to remember what button it is or reset it to the default settings.

How To slide cancel in Fortnite

Fortnite character running

Sometimes you might accidentally start sliding when you didn’t intend to, and this could seriously harm you during a gunfight. Luckily, the game lets you cancel the animation by pressing the crouch button a second time.

This will instantly get your character back into the running position. You can only slide down steep slopes such as hills, mountains, and slanting rooftops. Since you can use your weapon while sliding, this can be useful in battles.

You can also change the “slide hold time” when playing on a controller. This changes the duration for which you need to hold the crouch button to get your character to begin sliding.

Apex Legends: Crypto Heirloom model & animations leaked by dataminers

New Apex Legends leaks have uncovered the long awaited model and animations for Crypto’s Heirloom, which will likely drop in Season 12.

Crypto in Apex Legends

Apex Legends dataminers have been hard at work uncovering future content for Respawn’s battle royale, and the latest revealed Crypto’s Heirloom.

Apex Legends‘ players have had a lot to digest over the past week, with Respawn officially announcing the Raiders Collection Event and Christmas content coming in Season 11.

The Season 11 Collection Event will bring Wattson‘s Heirloom, but one character in particular has been amongst the talk of whose Heirloom will be next for quite a few seasons.

Finally, we have more information on Crypto‘s Heirloom, including when it could be arriving, the 3D model, and some of the animations.

Apex Legends Crypto

Every Apex Legends player is desperate for an Heirloom and the Collection Events stand as the easiest way to obtain one. The only catch is that you don’t get to pick which one you get as the only one available during these events is the latest one to drop.

Although they aren’t the most popular Legend in the game, Crypto has always been a fan-favorite when it comes to personality and style. The Korean hacker was one of the first new Legends to drop, being introduced in Season 3 along with World’s Edge.

Despite being introduced so early, we have yet to see his Heirloom, well, until now.

Apex Legends Crypto Heirloom leak

The leaker responsible for Crypto’s Heirloom leaks is Thordan Smash. This is a very reliable source as they have been involved in several leaks that have come to fruition such as Ash’s abilities prior to Season 11.

In their latest video, they showed off footage of Crypto’s Heirloom from the player’s perspective. The Heirloom takes the form of a retracting Korean Jikdo sword. The version of Crypto’s Heirloom shown in the video is clearly unfinished as it doesn’t possess any textures or colors.

Having said that, we can probably expect the Jikdo to have the green and white pallet Crypto is known for.

We also got to see some interesting animations in the video. It seems the Jikdo will be retractable, and when Crypto pulls it out, it will extend almost like a lightsaber.

Crypto holds the Heirloom like a sword and for those who love Heirloom designs that actually look like weapons, this one is definitely for you.

That’s all on Crypto’s Heirloom leaks, for more on Apex Legends be sure to check out when Apex Legends’ third Anniversary is.
