Ranked Play Season 1 for Advanced Warfare starts Jan 9th

Sledgehammer Games has announced the details regarding Season 1 of Ranked Play for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The first season will start on January 9th and will end on Jan. 31st.

Ranked Play features: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Masters divisons. Each division, at the end of the season, will earn a certain piece of gear. Once in Masters, the top 100 players will earn the previously announced Grand Master reward. You need 100 points to rank up within each division, and a completion of the Division Promotion Challenge.

Matchmaking in Ranked Play will take into account if you are predicted to win or lose against a certain opponent. Players earn points to rank up in divisions by winning matches; a win results in earning points to be promoted to next division. Losing a match or leaving a match will result in the loss of points. For each victory, you can receive between 15 to 25 points; for each loose, you can loose between 10 to 20 points.
