Warzone Season 2 has added many new things to spice up the battle royale shooter, and Raven Software has moved quickly to fix one of the most common complaints among the CoD community following the major update.

It’s fair to say that Verdansk has undergone some serious changes in Season 2 of Black Ops Cold War & Warzone. The Shipwreck POI & silos have become a huge aspect of Warzone already, and Zombies are well and truly established in the game.

Amongst all the positives that Season 2 has brought, there has been one reoccurring niggle that is disrupting player’s experience with the game.

Before the start of every game of Warzone, players would be counted down into the match until the timer reaches zero. After this, an intro video played that showed a massive tanker ship arriving on the beaches of Verdansk.

It’s cool, cinematic, and helped to progress the lore in Warzone – hinting at things to come. The only problem is that for some reason it was decided that the video would be played before the start of every game of Warzone.

What further exacerbates the problem is that the video was nearly a minute long. So for some players who unfortunately succumbed to an early elimination and wanted to quickly get back into the fray, they’d have to watch the video again.

FTJ Gaming and Trading has the intro sequence in full below.

Warzone players can rejoice as Raven Software – one of the devs behind Warzone – has listened to the early cries of frustration from its fanbase.

The company Tweeted out saying that the pre-match cinematic has now been disabled.

They even managed to slide one final, cheeky reminder of the video in the thread below the original Tweet just to have a laugh bout thesituation.

Given how much work Raven Software probably has trying to maintain Season 2, find any bugs, and threaten more ban waves, it’s commendable that they heard their audience.

We’re only in the early stages of Warzone Season 2, so it’ll be interesting to see if any other issues become prevalent amongst the community and if they get ironed out too.
