Report: Call of Duty 2020 will not be revealed anytime soon

Published

on

The PlayStation 5 The Future of Gaming event is officially done, and there was no Call of Duty 2020 reveal in the stream.

Activision has been partnered with PlayStation since 2015 for marketing rights and bonus content promotion for Call of Duty games, so many fans thought the first look at the 2020 title will be coming with the PS5 event.

However, the stream has ended, and there’s no news on the 2020 Call of Duty game still.

Now, per a report from Jason Schreier, who has accurately leaked info on Call of Duty, the reveal might not be happening for a while.

Eurogamer’s editor also said that it is further than most would expect.

Although there was no Call of Duty reveal in the stream, there was a brief appearance at the end of Treyarch’s Studio Lead and Infinity Ward’s Studio Head talking about their excitement for the PS5.

Patrick Kelly, Infinity Ward’s Studio Head, said that the studio ‘can’t wait for the PlayStation 5’ to arrive later this year.

The 2020 Call of Duty is still “on track” for release this fall, Argo said in early May. The rumors are suggest the new game is Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, developed by Treyarch.

Best M60 class in Black Ops Cold War

You’ll turn into a walking sentry gun.

Published

on

Here’s the best M60 light machine gun class setup for use in Black Ops Cold War.

The M60 is ironically, the heaviest light machine gun in Black Ops Cold War. Its slow fire rate and heavy weight compensate for its destructive and high power rounds that tear through walls like paper. It has a fair balance to its aim down sight speed for being such a powerful LMG, and works best while you’re crouching or in prone.

We recommend using this weapon in combined arms modes and playing more passive-aggressive.

For the loadout, YouTuber “LoneWolfXP” tells us the best attachments and gives us some tips as well. (Video Below)

The Setup

Note, this is a full 8 attachment setup, which means the gunfighter wildcard is required.

  • Optic: Hawksmoor – Reflex sight with a slight magnification in a rectangle optic. Provides high precision at medium ranges.
  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor – Immune to radar detection while firing. A must-have when playing with such a heavy and slow weapon.
  • Barrel: 22.8″ Task Force – Huge boost to effective damage range, bullet velocity and damage overall. Reduces max starting ammo and ammo capacity slightly.
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip – More control for horizontal and vertical recoil control to make sure all your shots hit at longer ranges.
  • Magazine: Fast Mag – Faster reloads are necessary on a weapon that’s this slow. Provides a 30% boost on reload speed to the base reload time.
  • Handle: Serpent Wrap – 25% boost to aim down sight time, great for aggressive players.
  • Stock: Raider Stock – Increased sprint to fire time and aim walking movement speed. Gives you a huge boost when you need it.

Tips for the field

  • Walking Sentry Gun – Essentially, when using this gun, you’ll be a mobile sentry gun. You have high power rounds and decent strafe speed. Enemies will fear you.
  • Don’t get caught with your sights down – This beast has a very long aim down sight time. You’ll want to strafe around corners. If your enemy has their sights up before you, you’ve already lost.
  • This is MY window! – Hold a rooftop, window or any height based power position on any map to dominate unsuspecting enemies.
  • 10v10 beast – Since you have plenty of ammo to go around, the M60 is great for the combined arms mode. Sit on a flag in a defensive position and watch the kills come in nice and easy.

Best Hauer 77 loadout in Black Ops Cold War

One shot, one kill.

Published

Here’s the best Hauer 77 shotgun loadout in Black Ops Cold War.

The Hauer 77 is Black Ops Cold War’s pump-action shotgun secondary. It’s super powerful and instantly takes down enemies in close range. It’s easily the best secondary in the game and can be used as an “escape” weapon in almost any close-quarters combat scenario.

In the current meta of Black Ops Cold War, some weapons take 3-5 well placed shots to take out an enemy. SMG’s tend to be on the higher end of the necessary shots to kill. In close range engagements with this shotgun, you’ll take out enemies before they even knew you were there.

In the video below YouTuber “Longle” shows us his pick for the best Hauer 77.

The Setup

  • Muzzle: Duckbill Choke – 50% wider pellet spread increase for wider kill ranges.
  • Barrel: 21.6″ Reinforced Heavy – Extra damage range and faster fire rate. Makes this shotgun just a bit more lethal.
  • Body: SWAT 5mw Laser Sight – More hipfire accuracy for when you’re in a hurry. Great for when you quickly need to swap weapons and take down an enemy charging your way.
  • Magazine: STANAG 8 Round Tube – More ammo capacity, 3 extra shells in each mag.
  • Stock: No Stock – 40% sprint to fire time. Become more mobile for fast paced, well aimed shots. Blast any enemies in your way fast.

Tips for the field

  • It’s a secondary… primary? – The shotguns in Black Ops Cold War are very powerful.. perhaps too powerful. Don’t be afraid to run around primarily with the Hauer. It’s destructive, lightweight, and will instantly take down enemies in your path.
  • Hold your corners – If you want to be truly annoying, hold a corner close to an objective. Camping is frowned upon, but at least you’re playing the objective. We promise you’ll be a tough kill.
  • Building dominance – Outside with shotguns, you won’t stand much of a chance. But you’ll be the king of buildings. Watch doorways, staircases, windows, and ladders to catch enemies off guard.

That’s it! Whether you choose to use this information to be more in tune with what players are using or to make other players rage is entirely up to you…

Here’s the best loadout as provided from YouTuber “PrimitiveAK”. (Video Below)

The Setup

  • Optic: Hawksmoor: Precision sight picture makes for a clear view of enemies in your optic. Great for medium range fights. Can be substituted with a sniper scope if you want to play less aggressively.
  • Barrel: 20.8″ Task Force – Faster bullet travel time, more overall bullet damage and a 100% boost to effective damage range. Adds additional vertical and horizontal recoil. Turns the DMR 14 into a mobile all-purpose sniper.
  • Body: Tiger Team Spotlight – 40% reveal distance boost. Allows you to see enemies at further ranges (their health bars) and also lets you spot enemies through the bushes in Cartel. For medium to long-distance fights, you’ll see enemies much easier and faster. This gives you a huge edge, especially if you get the first shot off.
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Foregrip – Huge reduction to horizontal recoil and a bit to vertical recoil. Helps you recenter the weapon after each shot much faster.
  • Magazine: 30 Round – More ammo, no cons. If you miss a few shots, you’ll have plenty more remaining.

Tips For The Field

  • Big Brain Required – Think before you run into a fight. You don’t want to be stuck against a submachine gun in CQC. Ideally, you want to shoot an enemy at medium range. Prop up on a solid piece of cover and unleash carnage.
  • BOOM HEADSHOT! – Aim for the head. Seriously. Don’t spray at the torso. Clicking heads has never been more fun. Upper torso shots are also highly lethal.
  • Be the overwatch – Is your team running at an objective? Sit back, call out enemies, and flush down their HP pool with a few well-placed shots. Your team will thank you.

Now get out there and start tapping some heads.
