All Resident Evil Village bosses & how to beat them

Being the tenth installment of the RE franchise, Resident Evil Village features some of the best-designed villains in the game. So here’s everything you need to know about Resident Evil Village bosses along with how to take them down.

Acting as a sequel to Resident Evil 7, which won multiple awards, it can be said that Resident Evil Village took the franchise’s legacy to the next level with its release. First released for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation back in 2021 the game was also announced for iOS and iPadOS in 2023.

Set three years after Resident Evil 7, the game follows Ethan rescuing his daughter as he traverses through a village that houses the villains in the game.

How many bosses are there in Resident Evil Village?

Resident Evil Village has a total of eight bosses with Mother Miranda creating seven of them. Mother Miranda, being the final boss in the game, is also the strongest and harder to defeat.

Here’s where you can find every boss in Resident Evil Village along with how to defeat them and what rewards you get for doing so:

Daughters of Dimitrescu: Bela, Daniela, and Cassandra

Bela is the first villain you’ll come across in Resident Evil Village when you are exploring the lower floors of the Castle. As she is vulnerable to cold, you can break a window to let the cool air in and then shoot at her till she dies.

Next up is Daniela who is behind the iron door in Lady Dimitrescu’s bedroom. She is also vulnerable to cold like Bela so shooting the roof window open will make her vulnerable enough for you to kill her using your gun.

To take down the last of the daughter, Cassandra, we suggest getting your hands on a pipe bomb. During the fight, topple the bookshelf towards a crack in the wall to open it and throw in the pipe bomb. Now all you have to do is shoot at her until she dies.

For defeating Bela, Daniela, and Cassandra you get Crystal Torso worth 5000 Lei.

Lady Dimitrescu

The majority of the fight against Lady Dimitrescu takes place while she’s in her mutated form after you stab her with the dagger in a cutscene. To take her down, use a handgun while she walks on the top of the castle. You can deal the most damage if you shoot at her mouth.

For when she’s airborne, use your rifle or the handgun. Since you might have to do this for a while, you can get more ammo from the jars near the stairs you used to come up.

You get Crystal Dimitrescu worth 25,000 Lei for taking down Lady Dimitrescu

Donna Beneviento

One of the easiest Resident Evil Village bosses is Donna Beneviento. To defeat her, all you need to do is find the doll called Angie that she has assumed the form of.

To find her first place of hiding, go through the first door to your left and then go up the stairs and into the room to the right. The second place is the room connected to where you started from near the sofa. To find Angie for the last time, follow the bloodstains that are on the wall and they should lead you directly towards her on a rug.

You will get an Unborn Key worth 28,000 Lei for defeating Donna Beneviento. You can also get Angie if you pick her up in the last step.

Moreau

Just like Lady Dimitrescu, Moreau also transforms into his mutated form in Resident Evil Village making him one of the hardest bosses to defeat.

Start off by looking for ammo, land mines, and pipe bombs in the barrels as they will come in handy, especially in the second phase of the battle. Use land mines to keep Moreau from moving much and shoot at him when he comes out of the mouth to deal the most damage.

During his Acid Rain attack, take cover and slice through the slime walls with a knife or shoot at them with your handgun after they appear. Moreau will go down eventually if you keep on shooting him.

For defeating Moreau, you are rewarded with Crystal Moreau worth 40,000 Lei.

Urias

The best way to defeat Urias in Resident Evil Village is to hide being pillars when he attacks. We also suggest walking in circles and jumping from pillar to pillar while getting ammo scattered around lamps.

You can also plant land mines when he calls Lycans. To take him down, keep shooting at him in the mouth as it deals the highest damage.

You get a Crystal Hammer worth 35,000 Lei for fighting Urias.

Heisenberg

In Resident Evil Village, Heisenberg is easily one of the biggest bosses you will come across. To win against him, stay at a distance and use your machine gun when he comes at you with his blades.

As for his saws, try to block if you cannot avoid them. In the last phase of the battle, when you are court of your tank and on foot, use your rifle to shoot at him in the mouth. You can find ammo near the walls to keep your stash full as Heisenberg takes a few minutes to go down.

You are rewarded with Crystal Heisenberg worth 70,000 Lei.

Urias Strajer

Compared to Urias, taking down Urias Strajer is quite easy, requiring you to not do much as your inventory is full of ammo and weapons. With the people in the squad distracting the boss, use your Orbital Strike at Urias Strajer’s tentacles to kill him.

You will get Crystal Mace worth 60,000 Lei for defeating Urias Strajer in Resident Evil Village.

Mother Miranda

Mother Miranda is Resident Evil Village’s final boss and the hardest to defeat of them all. Similar to Heisenberg, keep your distance from her, especially when she’s in her spider form and use your rifle to shoot at her.

After the scene goes normal from black and white, take cover against the pillar summoned by her to not deal any damage from her fire attack. In the last phase of the fight, when she ties you down, keep shooting at her and she will eventually die before she can execute her final attack.

You get a Rose for killing Mother Miranda in Resident Evil Village.
