Why are my codes not working?
With the game’s development being paused, Mad City’s codes section isn’t working, as they’re not grating any rewards when redeeming them. While the devs haven’t shared if this will be fixed, with development paused, it’s unlikely that this will be the case.
What happened to Mad City: Chapter 2?
Roblox’s Mad City development is currently paused. In various X posts, the devs shared that this was caused because they “branched efforts into smaller endeavors” and while they “loved doing updates the “harsh” reality was it didn’t “pay the bills.”
The game was last updated on July 2024 to remove the Valentine’s Day content added in February along with a message letting players know the game’s development status, noting that they’ll “be back at some point in the future.”
