Rockstar shuts down popular GTA Online hacking website to stop cheaters

Rockstar are trying to end GTA Online cheaters by taking down one of the biggest websites in the world for GTA Online hacking.

Rockstar is clamping down one of the internet’s top websites for GTA Online hacking in a bid to deter hackers.

Given that GTA in the PS2 and PS3 days was about exploring the open-world and having fun in your own way – cheats were the way to help do this. But GTA Online is not intended to be a single-player experience; it’s presented as a fabulously deep, online multiplayer game using microtransactions.

So you can see why Rockstar has spent years trying to cut down on hacking and cheating. Plenty of people have been finding ways to gain access to money illegally and Rockstar is trying to finally put a stop to it.

Whether it’s because people don’t want to spend money or because they want to take flight in the Ponte Deluxo for free – hacking is rife in GTA Online.

As such, hackers are always finding ways to gain free access to a lot of the game’s premium content without having to buy Shark Cards.

But Rockstar has finally put its foot down and gone directly to one of the biggest GTA hacking sites. LunaCheats was previously a go-to for many GTA Online players that wanted to hack the game and make a few million GTA$.

However, Take-Two Interactive – the publishers that own Rockstar Games – have managed to make LunaCheats stop all of their activities. Anyone heading to their website now will be greeted by a white screen with a simple message.

“After discussions with Take-Two Interactive, we are immediately ceasing all maintenance, development, and distribution of our cheat menu services. We will also be donating our proceeds to a charity designated by Take-Two.

We apologize for any and all problems our software has caused to the Grand Theft Auto Online community.”

It’s a strong message from Rockstar who now seem to be enforcing a zero-tolerance policy on any form of GTA Online hacking.

This could very well be the beginning of the end for these types of websites.

Battlefield 2042 is confirmed to have an Open Beta, allowing players to get a taste of the massive battles ahead of its official launch. Here’s how you can play the Open Beta and access it early.

Now that Battlefield 2042 has officially been revealed, players are eager to get a first-hand look at what DICE has been cooking up for the past few years.

After being delayed, the game is now on the slate for a November 19, 2021 launch, but DICE also has plans for an Open Beta ahead of its release. With the showcase at EA Play Live, the developers announced a September Beta date, where players can get their hands on the new Specialists, massive maps, and new game modes. However, with the game being delayed, this has reportedly changed.

Here’s everything we know about Battlefield 2042’s Open Beta.

As well as announcing Battlefield Portal, during Battlefield 2042’s showcase for EA Play Live on July 22, DICE officially confirmed that players could expect the Open Beta in September 2021. However, signs point towards the Beta now happening in early October.

Adam ‘PartWelsh’ Freeman, EA’s Lead Community Manager, tweeted on September 16 that “New dates for the Open Beta will be shared later this month.”

He clarified that they “likely won’t share those dates today, or tomorrow – and I’ll give you further heads up next week [week beginning September 20].”

This in itself doesn’t outright guarantee a delay, but according to industry insider Tom Henderson, the Open Beta will occur on October 8, with Early Access happening on October 6.

Henderson said that “The dates found are in an internal system that I cannot share. So it’s another ‘trust me bro’ for now.”

Earlier in September, Twitter account @PlaystationSize reported that the Beta Early Access has been added to the PlayStation database for both the PS4 and PS5 editions.

We’ll update you when DICE gives an official release for the Beta.

Battlefield V’s Beta allowed those who preordered the game to get two days of early access. Battlefield 2042 will follow the same model, with the developers confirming that those who preorder the game will be able to play the Beta first.

If you’ve preordered the game, you’ll get early access to a Closed Beta, likely a couple of days ahead of the Open Beta’s launch.

If you haven’t preordered Battlefield 2042, don’t worry, as you won’t have to spend a penny to play the Open Beta. It will likely appear on your platform of choice’s store as a free download.

According to data miner Shrugtal, the Shadow Royale LTM will return Apex Legends for the Halloween-themed event. It’s reportedly set to begin on October 26, but the devs haven’t confirmed this.

FIFA 22 Women’s Teams

Despite the ever-growing size of Women’s Football, there remains a surprisingly limited amount of playable all-female teams in FIFA.

International teams were first added back in FIFA 16, but since then the likes of the Women’s Premier League or any other club teams have remained absent.

Sadly, this is still the case in FIFA 22. Only national teams are being represented in-game once again, although there have been a handful of changes.

Japan has been removed from the roster, while Brazil with official kits and badges, but no licensed players. Portugal and Belgium are the two new additions.
