As part of the Days of Summer event in Call of Duty: WWII, Sledgehammer Games released a new, free map called Sandbox for players to play as miniaturized soldiers in a large sand-box style environment.

However, when the event begin on July 31, Activision revealed that PlayStation 4 players would get access to the Sandbox map 30 days early, similar to the DLC Packs exclusivity period time. This was the first time Activision had an event map early on PS4 versus other platforms, and it’s not clear why it was.

In a blog post on Call of Duty site, Activision has now confirmed that the Sandbox map will be available starting August 30 at 10AM PT on Xbox One and PC. Although the Days of Summer event will be over by then (it ends Aug. 28), players on Xbox One and PC will be able to experience this map in game starting on Aug 30.

Play Sandbox on Xbox One and PC starting 10am PT August 30.
