Secret Apex Legends L-STAR feature makes it perfect for long-range fights
Apex Legends Season 14 brought a buff to the L-Star, and players now notice how strong it can be in long-range engagements, mainly thanks to a secret feature that nobody really knows.
Apex Legends is host to a variety of weapons and Legends for players both old and new to master and dominate the battlefield with.
While the Season 14 update brought the new Legend Vantage into the mix, no new weapon was brought into the game. Having said that, buffs, nerfs, and changes to the Replicator and Care Package certainly shook up the weapon meta.
Despite being close to the mid-way split in the season, players are still discovering new tips and tricks, with a player actually finding a secret feature for the L-Star which could see it rise in popularity.
Apex Legends content creator The Gaming Merchant highlighted the secret L-Star feature in his September 5 video titled “How Has NOBODY Noticed This Yet??”
In the video, the popular YouTuber explains that as well as receiving a buff to its bullet travel time in Apex Legends Season 14, the L-Star also has a feature that nobody’s talking about.
Not only does the better bullet travel time and lack of bullet drop help the L-Star in long-range engagements, but the L-Star’s secret feature is that the bullets also increase in size as they travel through the air, reaching up to “10 times the size of a normal bullet from say an SMG or AR.”
This, of course, makes the L-Star incredibly strong in long-range fights as you’re more likely to hit your target due to the increased bullet size.
As The Gaming Merchant says, the L-Star is actually a “really effective long-range weapon that people are really sleeping on.”
So, with that said, if you’re looking for a great weapon to try that fits both close and long-range fights, the L-Star could be perfect for your play style. For more on Apex Legends, check out what NICKMERCS feels Ranked Leagues needs in order to retain players.
