Sledgehammer Games has confirmed via twitter that they are not involved with developing Call of Duty: Ghosts. Ghosts is being developed exclusively by Infinity Ward, which has been announced yesterday.

Sledgehammer Games’s first Call of Duty game was Call of Duty: MW3. They co-developed that game alongside Infinity Ward, which set new records in 2011 for earning $1 billion in 16 days. In their tweet, SHGames has confirmed they are working on a new project that is reportedly going to be a Call of Duty game. Job listings on their site stated they were looking for developers to “ensure” their new project would run on Xbox 360 and PS3. No other information has been given on their game at this time.
