As you can expect, this article contains major spoilers, so you should stop reading if you want to keep things a mystery.

Darth Vader’s cameo in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was praised by fans.

Does Darth Vader appear in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor?

We can confirm that Darth Vader makes an appearance in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The Sith Lord has a small role in the sequel, although it’s much bigger than a simple cameo, and has huge consequences in the story.

After the Mantis’ crew is betrayed by Bode Akuna, the game takes players to Jedha, where the Empire tries to destroy the Jedi archives to eliminate what remains of the Jedi Order once and for all.

There, Cere and Merrin handle most of the danger, but when Cere goes back to save whatever she can from the archives, Darth Vader tries to stop her. Wanting revenge for what happened in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the villain is one of the bosses players have to defeat in the story.

How to beat Darth Vader in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Darth Vader might be one of the toughest battles in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, so here are some tips to defeat the powerful Sith Lord.

As with many other enemies in the game, parrying Darth Vader’s attacks is one of the keys to success. Since the villain has many patterns and can react differently to your attacks, it might be best to wait until he attacks to parry and land some quick combos. Any long combos will probably be interrupted by blows that deal a lot of damage, so keep that in mind.

You’ll want to be as close to Darth Vader as possible during the whole fight. Once you get a hold of his moveset, you’ll be able to react without putting yourself in danger. Darth Vader likes to throw debris if you get too far from him, so you should try to avoid that approach.

Last but not least, do note that Cere has only four Stims, so you won’t be able to heal as much as Cal at that point in the adventure. That said, try to only heal Cere when she’s on the verge of being defeated. Otherwise, you’ll deplete all your Stims too early in the fight and will struggle.
