Crazy Starfield mods bring Star Wars & Thomas the Tank Engine crossover nobody expected

A Starfield player decided to install Star Wars mods alongside Thomas the Tank Engine and the result is surreal.

A Starfield player has turned their game into Star Wars with mods that include Din Djarin, Grogu, Stormtroopers, as well as various weapons from the franchise. What makes their game particularly “cursed” is the addition of a mod that replaces all spaceships with Thomas the Tank Engine.

As one user explained, Thomas the Tank Engine is “the unofficial calling card of cursed Bethesda modding.”

It was first introduced in Skyrim, and the scene where Alduin attacks Helgen becomes absolutely ludicrous when the terrifying dragon is replaced with Thomas. Instead of Alduin’s deafening roars, you get to hear Thomas’ iconic whistling.

Starfield meets Star Wars and Thomas the Tank Engine in bizarre modded gameplay video

Redditor ‘Space_Scumbag’ shared a video where they can be seen playing as Din Djarin, aka The Mandalorian, in Starfield. They were fighting some Stormtroopers with Djarin’s signature IB-94 blaster pistol as well as the Darksaber. There was also a statue of Grogu, the iconic ‘Baby Yoda’ from The Mandalorian.

One user thought that “Akila city fit the Mandalorian universe quite well, muddy roads, buildings made of simple materials.” Others said they upvoted solely due to the unexpected appearance of Thomas the Tank Engine, “that toot toot made me lose it.”

Star Wars mods have been all the rage ever since Starfield came out, as the space-themed RPG fits the sci-fi universe quite well. Starfield player ‘JLubbs’ said they “can’t wait for the creation kit to come out. Within a couple of years I bet starfield will be the best star wars game ever.”

The OP also listed some of the mods that he used for his video. This includes ‘The Mandalorian,’ which replaces the Mantis Spacesuit with Din Djarin’s Mandalorian armor and jetpack.

Then comes the mod that replaces all ships in game with Thomas the Tank Engine, which is called ‘Really Useful Starfield.’ Finally, there’s ‘Galactic Civil War Conversion,’ which replaces guards with Stormtroopers.
