How to find smuggling missions in Starfield
BethesdaStarfield has a vast universe where players can try transporting or selling items that weren’t exactly obtained by legal methods. If you want to try your luck as a Smuggler, here’s where you’ll be able to find high-adrenaline smuggling missions.
There are lots of missions you can complete outside the main campaign of Starfield, especially if you want to try out quests that will defy the law of the Settled Systems. The main step to achieving these types of objectives will be joining the Crimson Fleet, the faction known for dealing with any type of smuggled goods.
If you find yourself wondering about getting into a Smuggling career and winning a good amount of credits while you’re at it, here’s how you can do it.
Starfield: Where to find smuggling missions?
In order to find smuggling missions in Starfield, you’ll need to visit the heart of the Crimson Fleet, a space station called The Key. You’ll find this location on Suvorov, in the Kryx system. You should be aware that this Level 30-star system is surrounded by Crimson Fleet ships, which will be hostile towards you if you’re not part of its faction.
After being accepted as a member of this Faction, you’ll need to take a ship with a Shielded Cargo Hold, which will be useful to hide contraband items from any security scanners. Keep in mind that you can accept smuggling missions without this ship, although it will be much easier for you to get caught with contraband.
How to join the Crimson Fleet in Starfield
In order to get into The Key and explore it, you’ll need to join the Crimson Fleet. You can do so by committing a crime in a system controlled by the United Colonies, which will unlock a quest called Deep Cover. This will be the first mission of the Crimson Fleet questline.
After you’ve completed the honorary mission for the Crimson Fleet, called Echoes of the Past, you’re going to be accepted as a member. After that, you’ll be able to go to the Mission Terminals on The Key and find plenty of Smuggling Missions for you to accept.
