Bethesda’s Starfield delivers all the RPG elements that players have grown to love. It also gives players the option to choose up to three traits, each with its unique set of advantages and disadvantages.

Among the available traits, the Wanted trait stands out due to its high-risk-high-reward nature. While this trait can add an exciting dimension to gameplay, it can also become quite frustrating at times. Fortunately, the game has measures in place if players wish to get rid of the trait.

Here’s how to remove the Wanted trait in Starfield.

Starfield Wanted trait explained

The Wanted trait in Starfield pins a recurring number of bounty hunters on the player’s tail. Seeking to collect a bounty placed on your head, enemies will spawn randomly and try to take you out. The plus side to selecting this trait is that you do extra damage when your health is low.

During gameplay, these bounty hunters can really hamper your exploration, especially when planetside.
While the trait presents a fun challenge during the initial phase of the game, it can get old pretty quickly.
