Starfield: How to install ComSpike and Conduction Grid Modules
BethesdaIn Starfield, you can customize and upgrade your ship as you see fit, and in certain cases, you’ll notice that doing so becomes necessary to unlock further parts of the story. So, here’s how to install the ComSpike and Conduction Grid modules on your ship in Starfield.
Starfield will require you to upgrade your spaceship regularly, as it will allow you to complete several quests as well as help you during your journey across the galaxy. If you’ve also decided to side with the Crimson Fleet, their final mission will require you to know how to install modules such as the Conduction Grid and Comspike.
You’ll get access to these components after starting the Eye of the Storm mission, when Delgado asks you to infiltrate Kryx’s Legacy by jumping to the planet Bannoc IV. To successfully complete this quest, here’s everything step you should follow to install both the Conduction Grid and Comspike in Starfield.
How to get the ComSpike and Conduction Grid modules in Starfield
Getting both the ComSpike and Conduction Grid modules in Starfield is quite straightforward. Here’s what you need to do to install them in your ship in Starfield.
- Talk to Jasmine Durand at the Service Room in the Key.
- When interacting with her, select the dialogue option: “Mind helping me with my ship?.”
- Then select the “I’d like to view and modify my ships” dialogue option.
- Jasmine will then give you access to the Ship Builder menu.
- Go to the “Add options” section and then to the Equipment tab.
- Select the ComSpike Module and Conduction Grid that will be labeled as free.
- Drag them into the correct place to install them.
After talking to Delgado in Starfield during the Crimson’s Fleet storyline, you’ll need to talk to Jasmine Durand. You can find her in the Service Room which is located directly to your left when entering to the Key from the Space Port.
Talking to Jasmine Durand will allow you to access the Ship Builder menu in Starfield. She usually offers to sell you upgrades and parts of Nova Gaactic, Stroud, and HopeTech, and she’ll also let you buy the three main Crimson Fleet ships: the Crimson Fleet Ghost, the Crimson Fleet Haund, and the Crimson Fleet Phantom.
If you want to install the ComSpike Module and the Conduction Grid, you’ll need to open the Ship Builder menu and go to the Equipment tab in the Add Options section. Both modules will be marked as free, and you’ll need to select them before being able to see where their designated positions are to install them.
After finishing this process, you can exit the Ship Builder menu and your ship will have both the ComSpike module and the Conduction Grid installed.
