Starfield: How to remove all character traits
BethesdaOnce you start making your character in Starfield, you will notice that the game prompts you to choose three different traits. These will determine your starting skills in the game. Here’s how to remove traits in Starfield if you consider them unnecessary during your playthrough.
Even though Starfield has just been released, it is already considered one of the best RPGs this year by many. With immense exploration opportunities, the game has already won many hearts. But one of the major selling points of the game is the immersive character builder.
Once you get through the absolute beginning section, after mining a few rocks in Starfield, you will be prompted to build your character. You can choose three traits here. However, if you feel like removing them later on, you’ll need to pack some credits with you.
Here’s how to easily remove character traits in Starfield.
Removing character traits in Starfield
To remove character traits in Starfield, you will need to interact with certain NPCs throughout the galaxy and sometimes you might have to even pay them a certain amount of credits. Keep in mind that you might also need to choose the appropriate dialogue options in order to convince some NPCs.
- Alien DNA: Speak to the doctor at Reliant Medical in New Atlantis and pay him 10,000 credits to remove the Alien DNA from your character.
- Neon Street Rat: Go to Ebbside located in Neon and speak with Madam Sauvage.
- Freestar Collective Settler: Talk to Elias Cartwright in Akila City to remove this trait.
- United Colonies Native: To remove this trait, speak to Administrator Rooks in the Colonial Health and Human Resources office in MAST District, New Atlantis.
- Taskmaster: Talk to Andy Singh in the House of the Enlightened, The Well.
- Hero Worshipped: The Adoring Fan will help you out in this matter.
- Raised Enlightened: Speak to Andy Singh to remove this trait.
- Raised Universal: Remove this trait by speaking to Keeper Aquilis, in the Sanctum, New Atlantis.
- Serpent’s Embrace: Speak to Mir’za in the UC Security Office, New Atlantis, to remove this trait.
- Wanted: Talk to the Tracker Alliance Agents in Akila to remove this trait.
- Spaced: Go to Reliant Medical in New Atlantis and pay 10,000 Credits to the doctor.
- Terra Firma: The doctor at Reliant Medical will help you out for 10,000 credits.
- Dream Home: Foreclose the home at GalBank, New Atlantis.
- Introvert: Speak to the head of the House of the Enlightened.
- Extrovert: Speak to the head of the House of the Enlightened.
- Empath: Get surgery done at Reliant Medical.
- Kid Stuff: Talk to your parents at New Atlantis.
These are the ways through which you can remove all the character traits that are associated with you in Starfield.
Should you remove character traits in Starfield?
There is no additional benefit of removing character traits in Starfield. You will not be able to swap or get a new trait if you remove one. Therefore, removing a trait does not help you in any way, unless of course, it’s personally important to your role-playing experience.
