Many Starfield players have complained about the camera zoom that takes place during NPC interactions, and now they can get rid of it with the help of a mod.

Starfield has been one of the most popular games of 2023 as many consider it to be one of the best RPGs released this year. However, many players have called for changes to several aspects of the game as many feel that there is still room for improvement.

One of the biggest issues of discussion since the game’s launch has been its camera zoom during NPC interactions. Many people did not like it due to the facial animations and Bethesda are yet to make a move on this matter. However, a mod has been released to fix this issue in Starfield.

Reddit user ‘Majestic_Koala567’ let other Starfield players know about the mod, urging “anyone who dislikes the vanilla dialogue zoom” to give it a try. This mod was created by ‘AntoniX’ and is known as Diable Dialogue Camera.

The Diable Dialogue Camera mod completely removes the zoom-in feature that occurs during NPC interactions in Starfield. Many players liked the game better this way compared to the original as they felt it made conversations feel more organic.

The OP went on to say that this mod made the facial animations look “a lot more natural” in Starfield. The game’s facial animations were yet another topic of debate among the fans, so they’ll be happy to hear that this mod could solve that issue too.

This is why some players feel that removing the camera zoom and keeping a distance between you and the NPC is a fix for the “terrible” facial animations in Starfield. “It’s pulled back out from the valley into tolerable territory again,” said one of the players.

Most players who were confused with the “Oblivion zoom-in” in Starfield at first, find this new mod to be “fantastic” for their playthrough.

Bethesda have yet to address the issue in the game, even though many fans want them to remove this feature. However, with this mod, players can continue their playthrough without the zoom-in feature in Starfield.

However, keep in mind that using mods is only possible on a PC. Xbox players will not be able to use this mod on their console.
