Starfield player shares simple trick to easily sneak into Ryujin Tower
BethesdaA Starfield player shared a simple trick to enter Ryujin Tower during the Background Checks quest while avoiding guards, wasting no time in the process.
Ryujin Industries is one of many factions in Starfield, and if you pass their interview, you can do missions for them. Most of the missions take place in Neon, a futuristic city with a seedy underbelly. One of these quests, called Background Checks, involves your character sneaking into Ryujin Tower while avoiding any casualties.
As you’ll be breaking into a heavily guarded building, you’ll need to be skilled at Stealth. It can be a tedious and long mission, especially if it’s your first time doing it. However, one Starfield player has found an extremely fast way to enter Ryujin Tower without encountering any security.
How to enter Ryujin Tower fast in Starfield
A Redditor named ‘Reaper7894’ shared what they believe is an easy way to infiltrate Ryujin Tower in Starfield. This method has you deviate from the usual suggestion of following the mission marker, and finding a lesser known shortcut instead.
Go up to the rooftops with the scaffolding, and press the button for the crane which moves a platform toward you. However, instead of going through this platform, the OP jumps over it, and then onto the top of the crane. They then attempt a difficult jump, making it to a ledge across the platform, right over the marker.
You’ll need a Boost Pack for this, and as many other players have mentioned, the skill for it must be maxed out (Rank 4). The OP then climbs to the roof and enters a door that grants you access to Ryujin Tower. This leads to a vent that drops you right into Ularu’s office, where you need to go for the mission.
One user suggested a simple method for players who dislike stealth in Starfield: “just run past everyone.” Another replied with an even simpler alternative: “Stock up on quantum essence.”
This method requires you to constantly use Void Form, the power that allows you to become invisible. Other Starfield players came up with their own suggestions on how to stealth through the mission.
One user advised to “leave your companion behind for heavy stealth sections,” while many pointed out that you should unequip your spacesuit. Although most Ryujin Industries missions in Starfield are built around stealth, Background Checks is probably the most tedious. So, as one user confirmed, “you’ll miss nothing of value doing this skip for this mission.”
