Starfield players can’t believe stealth combat feature “made it past testing”
BethesdaMany Starfield players have complained about several factors in the game recently, and one of them claimed that the devs missed a major issue in stealth combat.
Many players are pointing out several issues in Starfield as it fell below even Skyrim in terms of player count recently. After having the best launch in Bethesda’s history, the title could not get rid of complaints and some negative reviews.
Aside from issues with quests or exploration, players have now found a new flaw in the title that many think has been purposely included in the game. For the invisibility users in Starfield, one fan has pointed out a major issue with stealth combat in Starfield.
Redditor ‘SbeveGobs 1’ has discovered that going invisible “makes the ADS crosshair disappear” during combat. The OP was evidently unhappy with this feature as they did not believe that this “made past testing.”
Some players have also agreed with the OP saying that they “couldn’t use” their guns in first-person mode due to this effect. As players love to have a high-end Stealth build in Bethesda games, many of them want to take full advantage of it by using a camouflage armor set, that amplifies Stealth in Starfield.
Although some people have suggested “using lasers” to combat these situations, others have also claimed that they do not “work properly” in the game. Some have also said the lasers “do not match” the trajectory of the bullet.
However, some players feel that “it’s not a bug, it’s a feature” in Starfield as making the crosshair disappear while being invisible is a touch of realism during combat. Many also claim that this feature was just the same in Fallout 4 as well.
Although there have been several other shouts about “realism,” many feel that “QoL wins over strict realism” as it is a game at the end of the day. Others have said that this game lacks “internal logic” in most cases.
It is still unclear if the devs purposely added this into the title as a feature or if is it simply a bug. However, players don’t seem to like this feature at all, so they will be hoping for a patch addressing the issue sooner or later.
