Players are somehow able to rocket their way around Verdansk ’84 thanks to a bizarre slide glitch allowing for near-endless slides in Season 3.
Just when it seemed like some parity was being restored in Verdansk thanks to the mending of holes in the map, a new oddity has found its way into the game. A video has been doing the rounds showing one Warzone player flinging themself around Verdansk at unusually long distances.
The game’s sliding mechanic is traditionally a quick way of taking cover and evading enemy fire, but, for the time being, at least, it can be used to simulate being on a water slide in Warzone.
Warzone always seems to have the odd trick up its sleeve, but we don’t even think the devs knew that a sliding glitch was on the cards.
But Reddit user NotImKenny has shown this to be the case with their video demonstrating that a seemingly random glitch can allow you to slide long distances.
With a post titled “I don’t think I am supposed to be able to slide 18 meters,” the player identifies a certain spot in the map that allowed them to slide a great distance. But soon after, they continued to give themself skin burns by sliding enormous distances everywhere.
It’s hard to pinpoint if this was a random glitch or was actually triggered by something in particular. However, some Reddit commenters seem to think there’s a cause: “Just to clarify, the slide boost, I assume, is from picking up a dog tag and getting overdrive. I assume it stuck on unintentionally because in overdrive you can slide this far.”
Another user also said, “There’s actually something wrong with the map, spots in the Forrest near Salt Mines and over between Farmland and Lumber it does the same and if you prone you end up halfway in the map.”
It could be either reason, both, or neither. We’ll just have to wait and see if more instances of the sliding glitch occur.

How to use Doomsday Station in Warzone & unlock unique cosmetic
The Doomsday Station is making its way to Caldera with the Warzone Season 5 update, and here’s how the device works.
Warzone Season 5’s new Doomsday Station device is set to shake up Caldera, so here’s how to use it to earn a unique cosmetic and in-game rewards.
Warzone Season 5 is sending off the battle royale with a bang thanks to the new weapons up for grabs, familiar villains returning, and new modes to discover. The new content doesn’t stop there as Raven Software are also introducing several new items for players to utilize.
One of these new items is the Doomsday Station, and it has the potential to shake up Warzone gameplay. Those who harness the power of the Doomsday Station could set themselves up for an easy battle royale victory, so let’s find out how it works.
Warzone Doomsday Station explained
Players who activate a Doomsday Station during the primary BR game mode will trigger a series of events on Caldera. After a Doomsday Station has been activated, enemy AI including soldiers and helicopters will arrive at your location for a direct assault.
It’ll be up to you and your teammates to remain close to the Doomsday Station and defend yourself against the oncoming attackers. If done successfully, players will earn a unique cosmetic reward as well as powerful in-game items.
Activating the Doomsday Station is not enough on its own and only those who survive the onslaught will receive the rewards. The cosmetic up for grabs is a Watch for your Operator, and while we don’t know which in-game items will act as rewards, they’re expected to change the flow of the game and set you up for a victory.
You’ll want to keep in mind that it will cost a total of $10,000 to activate the Doomsday Station, so saving up cash is a necessary step of the process. In addition, only one Doomsday Station will appear across Caldera per match. This practically guarantees that it will be a heavily contested location.
Speaking of location, the Doomsday Station will not appear in the same spot every match. Instead, it has multiple spawn locations, so you’ll have to keep an eye out and be ready for anything.

Warzone Season 5 Gulag inspired by fan-favorite Showers map
A brand-new Gulag is coming to Warzone in the Season 5 update, which is seemingly familiar to the classic Showers map.
The Warzone Season 5 update will refresh the Gulag, and for the final season, it seems players will be getting a dose of nostalgia.
As well as a bunch of new weapons like the EX1 and Valois Revolver, Warzone players will also be getting a new Field Upgrade and Personal Supply Box Killstreak. While players try out this new content in-game, they will also notice a change in the Gulag.
The Gulag is an important space for players, as they will often find themselves trying to get back to the map and earn a victory. The layout for the Gulag has changed a lot over the seasons, but it seems Season 5 will be taking the Gulag back to its roots.
The Caldera Gulag for Warzone Season 5 will be a reimagined layout of the original Showers map. The Call of Duty blog states that players will be fighting it out in a “face-off pit inspired by an old favorite.”
Although it is not exactly confirmed, the image gives it away, as it is clearly one of the spawns of the classic Showers Gulag, but with a “new volcanic” theme.
Although it is reimagined, this will still be a nostalgic experience for players, as it is the original layout for Warzone’s second chance saloon. This may also spark some nostalgia for Verdansk, as players have been extremely eager to see the original Warzone Battle Royale map return.
There may be differences in the layout, as it has been reimagined, but as more details are revealed we will be sure to update you so stay tuned to Charlie Intel.

How to play Warzone Operation Last Call mode: Search & Destroy-inspired LTM
Warzone Season 5 will bring a brand-new LTM to the battle royale, so here’s everything you need to know about Operation Last Call.
Players will have a new Warzone LTM to test out in Season 5 that’s inspired by the classic Search & Destroy multiplayer mode. Here’s a guide on how to play the Operation Last Call LTM.
Raven Software decided to pull out all the stops for Warzone Season 5 given that it will be the final season of the iconic battle royale. Alongside new weapons and classic villains returning to Warzone, players will also get to discover some new modes.
One of these new modes is the Operation Last Call LTM, and fans of Call of Duty multiplayer will be pleased to discover that it’s inspired by the fan-favorite Search & Destroy mode.
We’ve compiled everything you need to know about Warzone’s Last Call LTM, including how to play and what to expect.
Warzone Operation: Last Call LTM explained
What makes this LTM unique is that players get to decide how to play. With the theme of Season 5 being Heroes vs Villains, the Last Call LTM will have players decide which side they’d like to support.
You’ll have the chance to either defend or sabotage Caldera. Bomb sites will appear across Caldera and in a similar fashion to the Search & Destroy mode you can either defend and defuse bombs or attempt to detonate them.
While there was no specific mention in the Warzone Season 5 blog, it’s expected that respawns will be enabled during this LTM.
Warzone Season 5’s transformed Peak will take center stage and that remains true during Operation Last Call. Not only will lava run down the mountainside, but in Operation Last Call, it will also “shoot out over the island.”
Players will have to be mindful of lava rocks crashing down on them from up above. Neither heroes nor villains are safe from the chaos of the lava rocks. This eruption will act as a public event within the Last Call LTM. A Volcano Meter will appear on your screen indicating the volcano’s current activity.
Players will witness two different outcomes to the match depending on which faction emerges victorious. Of course, this LTM will tie into the Heroes vs. Villains Community Event, so don’t forget to choose your side and earn rewards for participating.
