Symfuhny shows his overpowered DMR setup for Warzone

Streamer Symfuhny shows off his powerful DMR loadout for Season 1 of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.

Streamer Symfuhny revealed his overpowered DMR that blows through Warzone lobbies.

Since the Black Ops Cold War Season 1 update for Warzone, we’ve seen the addition of 30+ weapons to the game. These Black Ops Cold War weapons have shaken the meta since they were originally added, and the newest discovery for the community is the powerful DMR.

The DMR is by far one of the best weapons in Warzone yet; capable of three-shotting enemies from insane ranges and is still lethal at medium ranges. Aggressive players will fall in love with the fast fire rate, and expert marksmen will appreciate the precision of each shot.

You’re going to want to get this weapon leveled up as soon as possible, so you can equip the best loadout for all of your gunfights. Today, we’re going to take some advice from streamer Symfunhy, and use his DMR setup.

The Loadout

  • Muzzle: Agency Silencer – Additional Damage Range and Sound Suppression. Don’t appear on the radar while firing, and also benefit from additional range. Identical to the Modern Warfare Monolithic Suppressor.
  • Barrel: 20.8″ Task Force – Improved Damage, Range, and Bullet Velocity at the cost of Horizontal and Vertical recoil control.
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Foregrip – Extra sprinting move speed and less Horizontal Recoil.
  • Magazine: 30 Round Mags – Lighter weight than the 40 Round Magazine. Plenty to wipe a whole squad.
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x – 3x magnification for a clear picture at long ranges.

Tips For The Field

  • Aim high, spam away – Once you get used to the recoil, this weapon becomes an instant kill machine. You can down enemies in just one headshot and body shot, or 3 body shots in general. Just be sure to aim high.
  • Aggression is key – Afraid of losing medium distance gunfights? This weapon excels at that too. Take enemies down before they even knew you were there.
  • Take cover! – Make sure to maneuver to waist height cover so you can take cover between shots from enemies. You’ll be a tough target to kill, and deal high damage every time you pop out.

Now get out there and win games!

Best PKM loadout for CoD Warzone Season 1

The PKM is one of Warzone’s strongest LMGs, and with these attachments and perks, you’ll be wiping squads in seconds.

Warzone PKM

The PKM is one of the strongest LMGs in Warzone, excelling at range with a high damage potential and large magazine size.

There is no distinct meta in Warzone Season 1 following the DMR’s nerf, and the PKM can keep up with the best Kilo 141 and CR-56 AMAX builds. It’s especially effective against snipers as its ammunition belt allows for heavy suppressive fire.

The PKM is a great addition to any Warzone squad but also holds its own in BR solos. Here are the best builds to maximize its potential across Verdansk and Rebirth Island.

Best Warzone PKM loadout

PKM Warzone loadout
  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: 26.9″ Extended Barrel
  • Laser: Tac Laser
  • Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip

This PKM build is much slower than Assault Rifles in the primary category, so make sure you have a strong close-range weapon as your secondary such as the MP5.

Stick to the outdoors or hold down buildings with this loadout and you’ll find squads running for cover as you reign a relentless hundred rounds down on them.

As this PKM is built for range, the Monolithic Suppressor and 26.9″ Extended Barrel are necessary for maximizing its damage potential. The VLK 3.0x Optic also helps with range with its magnification and hidden buff to recoil control. In most circumstances, 100 rounds will be enough but be careful of using the PKM out in the open as it has a slow reload time.

Warzone PKM

To help keep the PKM under control we’re adding a Commando Foregrip. This weapon will still kick somewhat so you’ll need to pull down your analog stick or mouse to control it. Finding a surface to mount on will make this already powerful weapon devastating.

All these attachments which maximize range slow the weapon down. Adding a Tac Laser to the weapon counters these heavy attachments, vastly increasing its ADS time. If you get caught in an ambush or spot a sniper glint, you’ll still have time to react and get shots downrange.

Best perks to use with Warzone PKM

A Warzone loadout is nothing without its perks, so you want to run upgrades that will help you to survive in any situation.

Warzone EOD perk

E.O.D

Explosives are incredibly lethal in Warzone, which is why so many players run semtex as their lethal equipment. If you have any hope of surviving a barrage of explosives, you need to run E.O.D. As long as you have any armor, you’ll be able to tank explosions.

Overkill then Ghost

When carrying an LMG, you’ll need something for CQB in your pocket. An SMG or shotgun will be crucial to winning close-range fights, and Overkill allows you to receive two primary weapons from one loadout drop.

You’ll also want the Ghost perk to keep you hidden from UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors, so have an identical PKM class with Ghost equipped, and from your second loadout, you’ll get everything you need for the game ahead.

Amped

As the PKM is a light machine gun, it’s extremely heavy. Swapping weapons while carrying an LMG is a tedious task, and will probably get you killed while in a pinch. Amped vastly increases your weapon swap speed, meaning you can pull out an SMG almost instantly.

Use this attachments and perks with your PKM in Warzone, and you’ll be able to put an insane amount of damage downrange.

New CoD: Mobile leak reveals another Modern Warfare map is coming

A new leaked clip has revealed that the Shoot House map from Modern Warfare is getting its first remake in COD: Mobile.

A new map is coming to COD: Mobile

A new leak has revealed that the Shoot House map from Modern Warfare is being beta tested in a Chinese server, which means that we’ll see it arrive in Call of Duty: Mobile soon. Here’s what we know so far.

Call of Duty: Mobile is entering a brand new Season, which means that there’s a plethora of new content on the horizon. This includes some exciting new maps, and the new update will be bringing its fair share of those.

The game already has a lot of locations from other Call of Duty titles, and a new leak has emerged which suggests that another one from Modern Warfare will be added soon. This is referring to Shoot House, which was introduced back in November 2019.

Shoot House in Modern Warfare

COD: Mobile adds Shoot House map

This map was part of Modern Warfare’s first free updates in 2019, and it gained popularity due to its fast-paced gameplay. It’s fairly small in size, which means that you’ll encounter enemies around every corner and have plenty of flanking opportunities.

The map’s immense popularity among fans explains why it’s getting a remake so soon, and players have a chance to try it out in a Chinese CoD Mobile Beta test. Domination is available to play as a game mode, and the map’s design hasn’t changed much.

You’ll be better off sticking with SMGs and Shotguns when playing on this map due to the close-quarters nature of the combat. We strongly recommend you set up a class that’s ideal for mobility, and allows you to fire from the hip.

So far, this remake of Shoot House is only available for COD: Mobile in a Beta stage. That means that the developers are working with fans to fine-tune it before it’s actual release, so you can try it out, and leave feedback on areas to improve upon.

So far it seems to be working perfectly fine. No bugs or glitches have been discovered in the mobile version of Shoot House so unless that changes, we’ll most likely see it in a future season of CoD: Mobile.

Season 1 already has a new map, so we don’t expect to see Shoot House appear anytime in the latest update. However, if Activision announce any new developments about this, we’ll be sure to update you.

How to fix Call of Duty: Warzone Dev Error 6034

If ‘Dev Error 6034’ is preventing you from playing Warzone, follow this simple guide to drop back into Verdansk in no time.

While Warzone Season 1 has seen a plethora of game-breaking exploits and bugs, one issue is preventing PC gamers from playing the battle royale altogether. Here’s how to fix the Dev Error 6034 issue.

Black Ops Cold War x Warzone Season 1 got off to a shaky start with the overpowered DMR 14, pay-to-win MAC-10 blueprint, as well as invisibility exploits and the return of stim glitches. These problems have now been fixed, but further issues have plagued CoD fans.

Xbox players saw the return of the ‘Blackout Trial Has Ended‘ screen, which Charlie Intel has covered a fix for, but ‘Dev Error 6034’ prevents PC players from playing Warzone and Modern Warfare.

The ‘Dev Error 6034’ bug first appeared in Modern Warfare shortly after launch, and because Warzone is connected to MW, battle royale players have encountered it too. If this frustrating error is preventing you from dropping into Verdansk, here’s how to fix it.

How to fix Dev Error 6034

It’s believed that Dev Error 6034 happens when Modern Warfare files become corrupted or unreadable. It sounds scary, but the fix is really quite simple.

CoD Warzone gameplay

A clean reinstall of the game is known to fix the issue, but there’s a much quicker solution. What you have to do is locate specific files in the Modern Warfare folder, delete them, then run a Scan and Repair which will replace the files with the correct versions.

The problem with PC gaming is solving errors like this can be daunting; nobody wants to go into the guts of their game and mess with files. Don’t worry, to make this as stress-free as possible, follow our simple walkthrough below.

  1. Open the Modern Warfare or Warzone installation folder
  2. Locate and delete the following files:
  • .patch.result
  • .product
  • vivoxsdk_x64.dll
  • Launcher.db
  • Modern Warfare Launcher.exe

After these files have been deleted, open Battle.net and run Scan and Repair on Modern Warfare/Warzone. It can be found through the ‘Options’ dropdown when the game is selected. These deleted files will now be replaced with working ones, and you can play Warzone again.

To prevent this problem from returning, make sure that Warzone downloads are uninterrupted. Leave your PC on until the download is complete, and avoid pausing and resuming the download when possible.
