Symfuhny unloads on Reddit users over Warzone bot lobby accusations

Streamer Symfuhny unloaded on Reddit users who were indirectly accusing him of exploiting bot lobbies.

Professional-level Warzone players are the best of the best. Often, other players will underestimate their skillsets (or overestimate their own), assuming top players must be cheating the system.

This belief often results in unwarranted toxicity against streamers, as Symfuhny saw in his Twitch chat recently. Comments poured in from viewers accusing him of being in “bot lobbies” and “reverse boosting for easier games”.

Symfuhny then went to Reddit to check where this sudden toxicity spike was coming from and landed on the below thread from user Tofazzz.

The user claimed that it feels like the professionals play in easier games, and their opponents constantly look dumb. Symfuhny responded on stream by stating “The reason you don’t find these players, is because you’re the player that’s getting rolled! You are the player that’s getting 3 tapped! Your K/D is only 1.23 because you suck!”

Additionally, a few comments flooded in agreeing with the original poster, among them, the one below.

In response to the comment, Symfuhny responded stating “yes, they (streamers) look better because you suck! Use your brain! If a streamer is way better than you, the players they are playing are going to look worse!”

A Common Misconception

It appears Symfuhny was airing out the frustration of players simply accusing drastically better players of cheating in games because they are not as good as them. This is commonplace in competitive gaming, with many players opting to refuse to believe players are better than them.

For Warzone, many of the top players are significantly better than other “top players”. Many of them are part of the .01% and are drastically better compared to the other players in the top 5%.

What should we learn from Symfuhny’s comment? The streamers are at the top for a reason. They’re just that good. They’ll make other great players look terrible because they’re better. Someone isn’t automatically “cheating” because they’re better.
