The 5 Best weapons in Call of Duty: Mobile

Since launching on October 1, 2019, CoD: Mobile has taken handheld gaming by storm and made Activision even more successful. The game boasts many fearsome weapons, so we’ve ranked the guns from worst to best.

Since its reboot, Call of Duty: Mobile has come a long way, with the game now absolutely rammed with content. The recent Season 8 update has added even more maps, even more guns, and the fans can’t get enough.

Every Call of Duty game establishes a consistent meta that gamers will hone in on and make the most of. Naturally, the devs will constantly check the data to see which guns are performing, which are not and introduce buffs and nerfs accordingly.

CoD: Mobile has many guns to use, and we’ve gone through them all to try and decide which are perhaps not as proficient in the art of killing, and which simply rule the game.

CoD: Mobile best guns

10. MSMC

A blistering fire rate makes the MSMC one of the most important weapons in the whole game.

It does mean that some accuracy and recoil are sacrificed to accompany it, but it’s still a powerful and fun gun to use.

9. MK2 Carbine

One of CoD: Mobile’s elite rifles, the MK2 Carbine continues to be an absolute monster in Season 7, and it’s a terrific long-range option if you have the skill to wield it.

It was already a valid choice in the handheld game, but several buffs in Season 6 made it extremely viable and must-use.

8. Locus

A very intimidating Sniper Rifle to come up against as its damage and fire rate make it a nuisance to counteract.

It is sadly let down by its after-shot recoil though, which gives players a chance to strike.

7. MX-9

Overall, the MX-9 is one of those guns that doesn’t necessarily excel in any given category it’s judged on. Yet it’s an optimal performer that can be used to great effect in virtually any game mode.

6. HVK-30

A very well-balanced Assault Rifle that is pretty much great in all categories, meaning its only downside is that it doesn’t truly excel in any area.

This is not a bad thing, and it’s why the HVK-30 is still chosen by many.

5. QQ9 – Best SMG in CoD: Mobile

If you want an easy-to-handle SMG with fluid mobility and an obnoxiously high fire rate, then the QQ9 is your choice.

The ADS is pretty swift and speeds up the TTK, which makes it comfortably the best SMG in CoD: Mobile.

4. ASM10

It doesn’t possess the best fire rate of an Assault Rifle, but it makes up for this with meaty rounds that can inflict some serious damage.

A popular gun that continues to feature in many loadouts.

3. DR-H

Extremely efficient, the DR-H has a superb fire rate for an Assault Rifle, and packs more punch than it’s given credit for. If you can control its recoil, then the DR-H is a beast.

2. DL Q33 – Best Sniper Rifle in CoD: Mobile

Placing this high on the list may come down to ability in terms of Sniper Rifles, but at the end of the day, the DL Q33 is unstoppable.

It virtually one-shots everything and is incredibly accurate, making it an impeccable weapon.

1. Man-O-War – Best Assault Rifle in CoD: Mobile

This compact weapon of mass destruction continues to dominate CoD: Mobile with its very-high DPS, manageable recoil, and understated accuracy. There is simply no better gun to use in CoD: Mobile.

That completes our list. These are the best weapons tiered and ranked in Call of Duty: Mobile. Be sure to check out the best guns in Cold War and the best guns in Warzone too!

CoD: Mobile players beg for major nerfs to overpowered Persistence Perk

The Persistence Perk has been left untouched in CoD: Mobile for a long time and players are insistent that it needs to be nerfed.

Published

on

It seems that the Persistence Perk is starting to get to some players in CoD: Mobile and think that the Killstreak-saving Perk needs to be addressed and nerfed.

As we’ve come to expect with every new season of CoD: Mobile, Season 10 has once again delivered new guns, new maps, and even more hours of frantic Call of Duty combat for handheld users.

But whilst players are having fun making use of the new goodies on offer, many continue to be frustrated by the devs apparent dismissal of the Persistence Perk.

The equippable ability allows players to keep their Scorestreak progress intact on death, at the cost of each Scorestreak cost being doubled. But this stays this way for the whole game, almost guaranteeing some of the top Scorestreaks.

Persistence does prevent players from earning more than one of each Scorestreak in a game though, so it does have some drawbacks.

Despite this, multiple posts on the CoD: Mobile subreddit have attacked the Persistence Perk and are keen for it to be reworked. One user posted: “I have been playing this game since Season 1 and have never used Persistence, but today, I was watching Ferg’s stream and saw the absolute wrath of Persistence, and so I equipped it. This is my first 2 games with Persistence.”

They attached a couple of screenshots to the post, each showing the player dominating each game and comfortably finishing as MVP in both games.

One of the top comments suggests that perhaps it’s not Persistence that is causing all the issues, but more the Streaks themselves.

“It’s not Persistence that is the problem, it is stuff like Clusters, Napalms, and Orbital Lasers that are. Ferg is p*ssed with Persistence because the Persistence users, more often than not, do not get enough points for a VTOL, so they spam stuff like Air Strikes, Napalms, Orbital Lasers, etc,” they said.

This point seemed to be backed up by another Reddit thread for the game titled: “I still don’t have an answer. How to counter Persistence Airstrikes?”

The insinuation is that Airstrikes are regularly called in every game, with a large portion of them coming as a result of the Persistence Perk. As such, it leaves players to be peppered by these high-powered Scorestreaks regularly, every match.

A final post contained a poll with three different potential options on how to deal with the Perk, with just over 28% of people asking for a nerf, just under 25% of people asking for a buff, and just under 47% asking for it to be reworked.

It’s clear and obvious that not everyone is happy with the Persistence Perk, but with the obscene amount of content that the devs are juggling with in the game, it’s a tough call as to whether or not they’ll change the Perk.

Best SVD loadout for CoD: Mobile Season 10

Here are the best attachments and Perks to dominate with the SVD Dragunov Sniper Rifle in CoD: Mobile Season 10.

Published

on

The classic SVD Draganov Sniper Rifle has arrived in CoD: Mobile Season 10, so we’ve got the attachments and Perks to create the best SVD loadout.

Call of Duty: Mobile Season 10 is officially here, bringing even more content from Modern Warfare (2019). The classic Vacant map arrived, as well as the SVD Dragunov Sniper Rifle, which long-term CoD fans will be more than familiar with.

The SVD is a quick and powerful semi-automatic Sniper Rifle, and we have the best loadout attachments and Perks for you to maximize its potential.

Best CoD: Mobile SVD loadout attachments

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: RTC 510mm Light
  • Stock: RTC Steady Stock
  • Laser: OWC Laser – Tactical
  • Ammunition: 15 Round Extended Mag

We’re starting the best CoD: Mobile SVD loadout with the classic Monolithic Suppressor which will increase the damage range. The SVD excels at these longer ranges, so you want an attachment that complements that.

Next, we’re using the RTC 510mm Light barrel to increase your mobility, giving a huge boost to aim down sight (ADS) speed, movement speed, and ADS movement speed. Then to further speed up the SVD, we’re using the OWC Laser – Tactical.

You also want the SVD to be accurate, which is where the RTC Steady Stock comes into play. This vastly improves its handling, reducing recoil, crosshair drift, flinch, and allows your lungs to refresh faster after steadying the scope.

And finally, to make sure you can take out as many targets as possible without reloading, we recommend the 15 Round Extended Mag.

Best Perks to use with CoD: Mobile SVD

  • Red Perk: Fast Recover
  • Green Perk: Toughness
  • Blue Perk: Dead Silence

Fast Recover is an excellent Perk for players who want to run around the map, as your health will quickly regenerate after each fight.

Next, Toughness is the perfect Perk for snipers as it reduces Flinch by 60%, allowing you to stay accurate while trade blows. And Dead Silence will keep you stealthy, as enemy players won’t be able to hear your footsteps.

How to unlock SVD in CoD: Mobile

The SVD is available as part of the free Season 10 Battle Pass, and you need to hit Tier 21 to unlock it.

Just prioritize racking up Scorestreaks and playing the objective, and you’ll unlock it in no time.

Best alternatives to the SVD in CoD: Mobile

If you haven’t unlocked the SVD or it isn’t your cup of tea, the Rytec AMR is another semi-automatic Sniper Rifle that can take down targets in quick succession. And you can’t go wrong with the NA-45, either.

How to unlock the SVD in CoD: Mobile Season 10

The SVD Dragunov Sniper Rifle arrives in Call of Duty: Mobile Season 10, so here’s how to get your hands on it.

Published

The SVD Dragunov Sniper Rifle makes its way to Call of Duty: Mobile in Season 10, Shadows Return, so here’s how to unlock it in the mobile shooter.

The Russian SVD Dragunov Sniper Rifle is a classic FPS weapon, appearing in several Call of Duty games over the years. Although rarely the most powerful Sniper Rifle, its low recoil and semi-automatic fire rate make it an effective choice in the right hands.

The full patch notes for CoD: Mobile Season 10 have been released, revealing that the SVD will arrive alongside Vacant, the Orbital Laser Scorestreak, and more.

Here’s how to unlock the SVD Sniper Rifle in CoD: Mobile Season 10.

How to get SVD Dragunov in CoD: Mobile Season 10

All players need to do to unlock the SVD in CoD: Mobile is reach Tier 21 in the free Season 10 Battle Pass, which goes live on November 17 at 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET / 12 AM GMT (November 18).

Unlocking the SVD shouldn’t take too long but use the best settings and prioritize earning score, and you’ll reach Tier 21 much quicker and easier. And those who purchase the Premium Battle Pass will also earn the Iron Blackwood Blueprint for the SVD, fitted with attachments and a unique skin.

You’ll also be able to unlock the SVD through a challenge after Season 10 ends, so don’t worry if you miss out this time.

CoD Mobile’s devs describe the SVD as a “semi-automatic sniper rifle that is highly mobile,” with “medium-to-high firing power, dealing slightly lower damage.” But they confirmed that an “opponent can be easily eliminated if shot in the upper chest area,” so this will likely be a powerful choice for both multiplayer and battle royale.
