Some players are wondering if this means they’re ditching the always-online DRM and allowing a full offline single-player experience. Yes, The Crew Motorfest requires players to be always online, like the previous two The Crew games.

Other games, like Forza Motorsport, require an online connection too, but that’s only for career mode and it has an offline play option as well. The Crew Motorfest will require online connectivity regardless of whether you tune into single-player, co-op, or multiplayer modes.
