The Crew Motorfest: How to import your car collection from The Crew 2
UbisoftIf you’re hesitant about your trip to The Crew Motorfest’s Hawaiin paradise thinking that you have to cough up all your cars from The Crew 2, you can import your collection with a few clicks. Here’s how to transfer your collection of cars from The Crew 2 to The Crew Motorfest.
The Crew Motorfest was built on all the knowledge that Ivory Tower have accumulated since the development of The Crew in 2014. In fact, it goes further back, as some of the developers in Ivory Tower were also the minds behind the original Test Drive Unlimited games.
The inspirations here are apparent, with the festival theme reminiscent of Forza Horizon, which itself owes much to Test Drive Unlimited, and the massive list of vehicles that are common with The Crew 2. Being able to transfer your collection is uncommon, however, this feature has been welcomed by the player base.
Here is everything we know about transferring vehicles from The Crew 2 to The Crew Motorfest.
How to import your car collection from The Crew 2 to The Crew Motorfest
To import your car collection from The Crew 2 to The Crew Motorfest, you’ll be given an in-game option the first time you log in, as well as later if you choose to opt out initially.
As you start, the game will give you two options: “Import My Collection” or “Start From Scratch.” Click on “Import My Collection” if you wish to bring all your vehicles, including your favorite cars, to The Crew Motorfest.
If unsure, you can opt out and import your vehicles at a later date. This can be done by following these steps:
- Click on the Options menu in The Crew Motorfest.
- Click on Game Setting.
- A Collection Import option should be right at the bottom of the list.
- Select it to bring over your vehicles.
Remember, once you choose to import, you can not go back and start from scratch, as Ubisoft have confirmed that this is an irreversible process.
Your collection is linked to your Ubisoft account, so as long as you play The Crew Motorfest on the same Ubisoft account, you should see the option. The same goes for console players as well, whatever PlayStation or Xbox account you played The Crew 2 in, you can play The Crew Motorfest with the same account to access the option.
For cross-platform you must have two platforms linked under the same Ubisoft account, or link them following this link — login with your main account and cross-link to platforms.
The import collection will also bring in some vanity items, but only items and vehicles released before The Crew 2 Season 9 will be available for import at launch, the rest will be added in December this year.
