The new Call of Duty app will be available for free on iOS, Android, and Windows Phone 8 devices starting Nov. 5, alongside the launch of Call of Duty: Ghosts. This new app is separate from the current Call of Duty Elite app, and this new app will only support Ghosts features. The current Call of Duty Elite app will only be for MW3 and Black Ops 2 stat tracking.

This new app will allow you track your stats, manage your clans, and enjoy a second screen experience for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC.

The Call of Duty® app offers:

• Call of Duty® Clan Wars, which is a brand new Call of Duty® app game mode that ties directly into Call of Duty®: Ghosts multiplayer, where you and your friends will compete with other Clans to earn bonus multiplayer XP and special items for your Call of Duty®: Ghosts Squad Members.

• A robust Clan Management system where you can now join, create and manage a Clan from the app.  Additionally, you can communicate with friends via the app’s Clan Chat and Rally-Up features.  There’s also a new, touch-based Emblem Editor in the app that allows you to create the emblem that best represents your Clan.

• Second Screen functionality to enhance your Call of Duty®: Ghosts multiplayer experience. This includes pre-match squad editing, in-match loadout swapping between spawns, and the ability to easily share post-match results via Facebook and Twitter.

• A mobile and tablet experience that includes some of the best and most popular features from Call of Duty® Elite, such as tracking your career stats – like KDR, win ratio, hours played, etc. – as well as the ability to check out a friend’s or rival’s stats, and the ability to edit your squad and push loadouts to the game.

The app will support many devices across iOS, Android, and Windows Phone:

The Call of Duty® app is currently planned to be available for a number of iOS mobile and tablet devices, Android mobile devices (phones only, not Android tablets), and Windows 8 mobile and tablet devices. A list of specific supported iOS, Android and Windows devices will be made available at launch.
