Three New Weapons + new set of Royalty weapons available Sept. 1st on Xbox One – UPDATE
UPDATE: Sledgehammer Games has announced they decided to delay the release of the three new weapons and the Royalty weapons V3 till September 1st as to not interfere with the Black Ops 3 Beta.
Sledgehammer Games has announced that three new weapons AK47, M16, and CEL-3 Cauterizer – and a new set of Royalty weapons will be available for Advanced Warfare on Xbox One starting September 1st. The weapons will be added into Regular and Advanced Supply Drops.
AK-47:
This fan-favorite fully automatic Assault Rifle can deliver some great damage at close to medium range. Players will want to be careful and fire the weapon in short bursts to keep the recoil under control. The AK47 base weapon will be unlocked once you receive one of the five variants in a Supply Drop or Advanced Supply Drop.
M16:
This three-round burst Assault Rifle offers a little more damage than the ARX-160, but adds a slightly longer delay between bursts. It’s a great weapon to use on long sight-lines, just don’t get caught off guard from someone flanking you, and be prepared with a solid secondary weapon if they get too close. Like the AK47, the M16’s base weapon will be unlocked for use in Create a Class once you receive a variant in a Supply Drop or Advanced Supply Drop.
CEL-3:
This fully automatic directed energy shotgun functions very similar to how it is in Exo-Zombies. There’s a small delay between the first and second shot as the chambers on the CEL-3 turn, but if the trigger is held down after the 2nd shot it will have an increased fire rate. The base weapon of the CEL-3 will be available once you receive one of the two variants in a Supply Drop or Advanced Supply Drop.
Royalty V3:
In addition to these new weapons, there will also be a new set of Royalty weapons coming to Advanced Warfare on Xbox One on September 1st.
These new weapons will be coming soon to PlayStation 4 and PC. Note: these weapons will not be available on Xbox 360 and PS3.
