Warzone & Cold War Season 5 Operator revealed in leaked key art
Key art for Warzone and Cold War Season 5 has reportedly been leaked, revealing the upcoming Operator and a brand-new weapon.
Call of Duty: Warzone and Cold War’s Season 5 Operator and theme have reportedly been revealed in leaked artwork for the new season.
Warzone and Cold War Season 4 brought a ton of new content to both games, but we’re fast approaching Season 5. There are no official details on what the new season will entail, but one of the biggest expectations is that WW2 Vanguard will be revealed inside Warzone.
However, the Season 5 artwork has reportedly leaked, giving us a look at the brand-new Operator and weapon coming with this new Season.
Call of Duty leaker and data miner Nanikos posted a ton of information about Warzone and Cold War Season 5 to the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit. Here, they shared an Imgur link to the leaked Season 5 artwork.
In this image, we can see the supposed Season 5 Operator ‘Kitsune’ wielding what appears to be akimbo TEC-9 Pistols. She’s also surrounded by the numbers associated with Black Ops and Warzone’s Red Doors, so the season will likely continue this ongoing story.
Providing more information, Nanikos said that the season is “Japanese themed,” and will feature the TEC-9 Pistol that can be spotted in the artwork.
Nanikos also said that we’ll “probably see” the classic Summit map in a new Outbreak region as well as a standalone Summit for 6v6 multiplayer. While there’s no confirmation that they will come in Season 5, the leaker said they “know they’re coming,” and will be in Season 6 if not. This follows the recent leak that Cold War will receive 12 more maps.
Nanikos continued that “there is also still PHD and Double Tap for zombies and the lightning links field upgrade” still to come.
Of course, these are only leaks, so should be taken with the standard pinch of salt. Season 5 is set to launch on August 12, and we’ll know the concrete details when Treyarch and Raven Software releases the official roadmap ahead of this date.

Leak claims 12 maps still coming to Black Ops Cold War
There is plenty more Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War content to come with a reported 12 maps still to arrive in Treyarch’s 80s shooter.
Despite the rumored Call of Duty: Vanguard title on its way, Cold War is showing no signs of stopping as a leak has suggested players have 12 more maps to look forward to.
Each new season of Black Ops Cold War always comes saddled with new maps, guns, game modes, and all the usual elements of a new season. Season 4 reintroduced Hijacked and Rush into the Cold War universe as extra maps for players to enjoy.
We’re not too far away from the game being a year old, and the anticipated unveiling of the rumored Vanguard 2021 iteration in the franchise. Yet, Treyarch still apparently has plenty left in the pipeline as a leak has suggested that 12 more maps are expected to feature in Cold War over the coming months.
Following the example set by Modern Warfare, it seems that not all players are desperate to move away from a CoD title to jump onboard the new one.
2019’s Modern Warfare reboot has managed to retain a healthy following of players, so much so that the game has continued to receive extra content well into its lifecycle.
According to MW2 OG, “There is still about 12 maps designed for Cold War yet to come. Say 3 each for S5 and S5, then a bunch post-season. That’s a nice amount of maps. Pretty sure there may be a remake post-launch too.”
For players that enjoy Black Ops Cold War and may not want to make the leap to the new CoD straightaway, this is good news.
Cold War has managed to remain quite popular since its release, and with the ongoing hackers and cheaters making their presence known in Warzone, Cold War could still remain a solid option past November.

Black Ops Cold War players want one major change for Mastercraft blueprints
Black Ops Cold War Mastercraft blueprints are great, giving players detailed thematic skins for their weapons, but some players want one change.
Black Ops Cold War offers players great customization options for weapons, but it seems some players still want more, especially when it comes to Mastercraft blueprints.
Black Ops Cold War is now in its fourth season, introducing new content seasonally for players who are still enjoying the classic Call of Duty multiplayer experience.
One thing those dedicated players love is the customization and camos, with recent calls for the custom emblems to return. However, it seems some players want one change for the Mastercraft blueprints.
Reddit user MultiBlueGamer put up a post with the suggestion that Mastercraft blueprints should keep their aesthetic even when players change the attachments on the weapon:
“Can we make some kind of Petition to make it so attachments don’t change the look of MasterCrafts? Some of these MasterCraft look sick but have terrible attachments, PLEASE Treyarch!”
Although it may seem small, it is pretty frustrating when you want to use a certain Mastercraft because you like the look of it but have to use attachments you don’t want to keep the intended design of the Mastercraft.
This would be a great quality of life change for Black Ops Cold War, mostly for those players who are dedicated to getting Mastercraft blueprints but still want to use the attachments that give them the best stats.
Users in the comments seem to agree, but most are fairly pessimistic about the developers taking the time to change something as small as this and are merely hoping that it will change in future Call of Duty installments.
One comments even suggested separating the gunsmith and attachments:
“This is why stat-changing attachments and the gunsmith should be separate. The only attachments that should alter the appearance are optic sights and suppressors. Then make the gunsmith completely cosmetic. That way you can make the gun look how you want without having to run attachments you don’t want, and vise versa.”
This would definitely be interesting and probably be a welcomed quality-of-life change by players, but who knows if this will ever happen.
