Treyarch Confirms Zombie Factions are Coming in the Next Black Ops 4 Operation
Treyarch has provided further updates for when Zombies fans can expect the next big addition to the mode. “Factions”, the long awaited feature/mode for Zombies, will be coming in the “next Operation” Treyarch says on Twitter.
Twitter user @OfficialNoobey asked Treyarch “Is there any ETA on Factions for Zombies?”, in when they replied “Factions is planned for our next Operation, with the team currently focused on releasing Ancient Evil (DLC 2) in our next major update, followed by Dead of the Night’s Gauntlet, Server Pause, Splitscreen Pause + more.”
The current Operation Grand Heist is slated to end on April 30th, meaning the next Operation should span all of May and June.
While we still don’t know much about Factions, here’s what Treyarch had to say about it at last years San Diego Comic Con:
First, there will be Factions in Black Ops 4 Zombies, complete with their own quests and narratives. These Factions will add another dimension to the story, as players choose to side with the Bloodfaith, Tempus Novi, Dustborn or The First Legion. Blundell added that these Factions will add a new layer to the Zombies experience, “Who do you stand with, and what does that mean as you progress along that path?”
The last update we got regarding Factions before this tweet was on 115 Day in a post detailing what was to come in 2019 for Zombies.
Factions is planned for our next Operation, with the team currently focused on releasing Ancient Evil (DLC 2) in our next major update, followed by Dead of the Night's Gauntlet, Server Pause, Splitscreen Pause + more.
