Treyarch’s Lead Designer Tony Flame has confirmed on Twitter that the team is in fact working a balancing pass for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 multiplayer, but there’s no date set yet for when the balancing update will become available.

In a tweet, Flame confirmed that they are looking at all weapons to check how each one is performing in game, and also looking at mode-specific balancing, including Hardcore and platform specific like PC.

He confirmed that they’re looking at each weapon class and attachments, and teased there may be some updates for snipers to follow.

The next patch update for Black Ops 4 is scheduled for this Tuesday, January 29, but this weapon balance pass will not be included in it. There’s no date set for the balancing update.

The Update 1.12 coming on Tuesday will include new MP featured modes, alongside balancing updates in Blackout and new updates and features for Zombies. More info available here.
