In a tweet reply on Twitter, Treyarch has stated that more ‘new weapons’ are planned for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 during the course of Operation Spectre Rising.

Fans have been asking for a new Sniper since the start of Operation Grand Heist, when the trailer debuted back in February showcased a new sniper for the game. Treyarch said that they pushed the weapon back to Spectre Rising, but no release date has been confirmed.

Treyarch states that more weapons are coming this Operation beyond just the previously leaked Sniper Rifle.

The current Contraband Stream for Operation Spectre Rising is set to end on June 4 on PS4. On that day, the Days of Summer event for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is expected to start alongside the second half of Operation Spectre Rising.

The new Contraband stream coming then is expected to bring more weapons for Black Ops 4.

Treyarch also noted that the 50v50 Blackout mode called Ground War is planned for the second half of Operation Spectre Rising.
