New Signature Weapons coming in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

Activision and Treyarch has announced a new weapon system in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 called Signature Weapons.

Signature Weapons are cosmetic-only variants in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 that have the ultimate look for weapons in-game. Each weapon has its signature weapon, and each signature weapon has their own challenges and rewards. There’s a set of challenges for each weapon, and completing all of the challenges will give you the Mastercraft version of the Signature Weapons.

From Activision:

For the first time in a Call of Duty game, Black Ops 4 will introduce Signature Weapons. These are cosmetic variations of the base weapons in Black Ops 4, each with their own challenges and rewards. Signature weapons do not have any game-altering stats and perform exactly like their base weapon counterparts. The beauty of Signature Weapons is in the additional layers of depth that they add to the game’s progression with their individual challenges. These challenges must be completed in order to unlock additional cosmetic rewards for that weapon, with the final being a Mastercraft version of the Signature Weapon.

Signature Weapons are the most badass looking weapons in Black Ops 4, and a badge of honor for the battle-hardened players that have invested the time to achieve the Mastercraft versions.

New Pre-order Bonuses:

Activision has also announced brand new pre-order bonuses for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 surrounding the Signature Weapons. For those that buy the Digital Deluxe Edition, Digital Deluxe Enhanced Edition, the Pro Edition, or the Mystery Box Edition, they will get the MX-9 Signature Weapon on Day 1 (shown in the feature image).

In addition, the GameStop exclusive pre-order has been revealed: the Divinity. The Divinity is the Strife’s pistol signature weapon. And a challenge-tied variant has been revealed, similar to all Signature Weapons — this is the Divinity’s highest variant: Divinity Justice.
