Two new weapons coming in CoD Mobile Season 13

Call of Duty: Mobile’s Season 13 is set to kick off on December 12, and Activision has dropped two teasers giving fans a look at weapons coming when the big update becomes available.

Things are set to get chilly in Season 13, with players headed to Russia to do battle on the Russian version of Nuketown from Black Ops 4, which is the new map included in the seasonal patch.

Of course, no CoD Mobile season is complete without new weapons to add some firepower to your inventory, and it seems that players will get their hands on two this time, with a brand-new Assault Rifle and SMG both teased by the official Twitter account.

While only the silhouettes of the guns were revealed, CoD Mobile usually adds weapons that have already featured in the main franchise, so we already have a good idea as to what they could be.

First up is the Assault Rifle, which will be easily recognizable for anyone who played Treyarch’s Black Ops 2 back in 2012.

With the unique stock and iron sights, this looks almost identical to the Peacekeeper, so it seems a safe bet that it will be added to the game with the Season 13 update.

The SMG is a feature of Call of Duty titles down the years, as the MP7 has appeared in both the Modern Warfare and Black Ops series down the years.

While it’s not officially confirmed this gun is the MP7, it definitely looks a lot like it, and despite appearing in so many games, has never made it to CoD Mobile.

While Activision has teased the weapons, we won’t know for sure which guns are joining the game until the public test build releases, which the developers use to iron out any bugs before the full launch.

The good news is that with the seasonal update expected to drop on December 13, we shouldn’t have too long to wait before we find out.
