Valorant Agent 14
Valorant fans have been eagerly awaiting the reveal of the new agent, dubbed Agent 14.
However, their wishes have been answered with a leak revealing the new agent’s abilities and name: Yoru.
The leak is in Russian but Reddit user kuroi_kaze has translated Yoru’s abilities for us.
- Ability One: Creates steps sound. Press Fire to send it ahead. Or pre-place it with Alt-Fire, then press F to send the inactive one ahead.
- Ability Two: Flash. Press Fire to throw it, it will pop after contact with the surface.
- Ability Three: Press the ability button to place Portal, Press Fire to send Portal ahead, Anchor Portal with Alt-Fire. Press Activate to teleport through the Portal.

How to fix Valorant Error Code 39
Valorant Error Code 39 is an issue that plagues players quite frequently, and here’s how you can get around it.
One of the most infamous problems faced by Valorant fans is the Error Code 39, which prevents them from being able to enter the game. Here’s everything you need to know about fixing it.
Valorant fans have their fair share of issues with the online game, including the large number of cheaters and smurf accounts that ruin the fun for everyone. However, a more commonly faced issue for players is the Error Code 39.
This problem has plagued fans for a while, and you will have experienced it at least once if you play the game frequently. We’ll go over everything you need to know about this error, including how to get around it.
What is Valorant Error Code 39
Error 39 pops up when you aren’t able to connect to Valorant servers. This results in you not being able to hop into a match, and the game kicking you out.
This inability to connect usually stems from the game’s servers either crashing or being down for maintenance. You’ll often see this issue pop up when a new Episode or Act goes live in Valorant.
When this happens, the first thing you’ll want to do is double-check the server status. You can make use of a dedicated tool that the developers have to deal with situations like this. If it works, then you’ll be able to relax.
This means that the problem lies on the developers’ end. If an update patch has dropped, and it has brought along a brand new issue to the game then you might see Error 39 as Riot Games attempt to fix the problem.
The bad news is that since this issue is on Riot’s end, then there isn’t much you can do about it if the tool doesn’t work. While your computer isn’t in any inherent danger from Error 39, you won’t get to play the game until the devs fix the issue.
Waiting around while the servers are down can be irritating, you can check for updates by visiting the official Twitter account for the game. Once a fix has been applied and the servers are back up, you can read about it there.
Fortunately, Riot Games are often quick to fix the server issues so you won’t have to wait too long.

Riot confirm a new wave of Valorant bans is coming
Riot Games developers took to Reddit and announced that they plan to take care of the recent surge of cheaters in Valorant.
Valorant is being plagued by an increasing number of cheaters and smurf accounts, so Riot devs have made it clear to fans on Reddit that they’ve noticed the problem, and made plans to deal with it.
There is a plethora of new Valorant content on the way, such as new agents and abilities, so there is a lot to be excited about in the future. However, cheating and smurfing are two major issues that Riot Games are still dealing with.
One player decided to get answers from the developers. After a Reddit thread about the issue blew up, one of the devs finally responded to fan questions and explained the planned solution.
Riot devs respond to Valorant cheating
Reddit user PeteyySD started the thread, where they vented their frustration at the “surge in cheaters” in the game in recent months.
The player made it clear that anytime they reported a cheater, they would show up again in different games. Riot developer, RayKay, took notice of this and issued a response, reassuring fans that Riot plans to implement some serious anti-cheat measures this year.
RayKay said, “Hey sorry about the cheating we are aware and bans are incoming. While we can never stop all cheating we want to make sure that it does not effect your ranked progress.
Our team is looking to make many improvements this year based on the feedback we received and hard lessons we learned last year. Keep those reports and feedback coming.”
There was another question about whether or not players will be able to get back lost MMR from games that have been infested by cheaters, or have their ranks brought back to their original spots. Unfortunately, that isn’t something the developers are focusing on.
Raykay explained, “that is a cool idea, that is something we would like to do but got some bigger priorities in front of it right now.” While we’re relieved that Riot will be making some changes, they haven’t come up with a proper fix yet.
It’s good to know that the developers are taking this matter seriously. Hopefully, we’ll get a solution soon. Until then, the best we can do is report unfair play whenever we come across it.
