Valorant features several hundred skins but the knife skins are some of the most sought-after for each bundle. Here are the most popular knife or melee skins among Valorant players, including the likes of Reaver and Prime Karambits along with their prices.

Valorant Episode 7 Act 3 is already underway, bringing plenty of exciting content and changes to Riot’s biggest shooter. The new Act’s kickoff introduced Iso, the seventh Duelist, as well as significant nerfs and buffs for Raze and Cypher, respectively.

While most of you look forward to climbing the rank ladder by locking in the Agents in meta, a large part of the community wants to grab the latest skin bundles and play casual modes. And as is the case with most bundles in Valorant, the knife or melee weapon skin is the most expensive.

So, if you’re looking to add new knife or melee skins to your Collection in Valorant, here are the best ones to get after Episode 7 Act 3’s kickoff.

Best knife & melee skins in Valorant

10. RGX 11z Pro Blade

The RGX 11z Pro Blade is one of the longest knife skins in Valorant.
  • Price: 4,350 VP
  • Upgrades: Animation
  • Variants: Red, Blue, Yellow

The first RGX 11z Pro bundle made its way into Valorant in Episode 3 and its Vandal and melee skins were the standouts. It’s a slick knife with a long blade that pulls itself out when equipped.

Apart from the interesting design, the RGX 11z Pro Blade also switches between colors when you inspect it.

9. BlastX Polymer KnifeTech Coated Knife

BlastX knife in Valorant
The BlastX bundle skins look as if they’re toys.
  • Price: 4,350 VP
  • Upgrades: Animation
  • Variants: Black, Yellow, Pink

Riot brought the BlastX bundle in Act 3 of Episode 1 in Valorant. While the guns are designed after Nerf guns in real life, the knife also looks as if it’s a toy.

The knife allows players to upgrade its weapon equip animation that pulls the knife out of its handle.

8. Glitchpop Dagger

Glitchpop Dagger in Valorant
The Glitchpop knife is one of the most bright ones in the game.
  • Price: 4,350 VP
  • Upgrades: VFX

The first Glitchpop bundle was released in Episode 1 of Valorant and was popular among players due to its vibrant design. However, the Glitchpop Dagger stood out from the rest of the skins in the collection, thanks to its upgrade that brightens the edges of the knife.

7. Prime Karambit

Prime Karambit in Valorant
The Prime Karambit remains a popular knife skin in Valorant.
  • Price: 3,550 VP
  • Upgrades: Animation

The Prime Karambit is a knife in Valorant with a simple yet appealing design that made its way into the game with the Prime 2.0 bundle. The original Prime bundle was extremely popular, especially its Vandal skin, due to the satisfying shooting sound that comes with all the guns in this collection.

Upgrading the knife lets you unlock an animation in which you open the knife from a folded position. This provides an interesting addition to the already neat design, and despite being released over 2 years ago, it seems its popularity hasn’t taken that big of a hit.

6. Elderflame Dagger

Elderflame Knife in Valorant
The Elderflame bundle is one of the most sought-after collections in Valorant.
  • Price: 4,950 VP
  • Upgrades: VFX

While Elderflame Dagger in its base version isn’t as appealing, its VFX upgrade instantly makes it one of the best knife skins in Valorant. The Elderflame bundle was introduced a few weeks after Valorant’s launch in June 2020, making it one of the first and most expensive bundles to be available in the title.

The VFX upgrade adds the fire effect to the knife’s blade and lightens up its handle as well. This effect is in line with the design and upgrades of the rest of the collection, modeled to resemble a dragon.

5. Onimaru Kunitsuna

Oni Katana knife in Valorant
Anime fans adore this Katana resembling melee skin in Valorant.
  • Price: 5,350 VP
  • Upgrades: Sound Effects
  • Variants: Kumo, Hana, Tsubame

There are only two melee skins in Valorant that are more expensive than Onimaru Kunitsuna. This knife skin, similar to the Japanese sword Katana, was introduced with the Oni 2.0 bundle and was an immediate hit with the fans despite its high price.

Onimaru Kunitsuna has three variants – Kumo is the golden, Hana is the red, and Tsubame is the white color variant.

4. Ignite Knife/Fan

Ignite Knife in Valorant
Without the upgrade, this skin will appear as a knife only.
  • Price: 4,710 VP
  • Upgrades: Animation
  • Variants: Purple

The Ignite knife along with its bundle was introduced in Episode 7 Act 1 to celebrate the launch of Valorant servers in China. The base version behaves like a knife only, however, if you upgrade the skin, it adds fire to the melee along with the ability to spread it open like a traditional Chinese fan.

Keep in mind that there are only two melees available in Valorant that open up like a fan, so if you’re looking to grab a hold of unique skins, the Ignite knife is a good pick.

3. Ruin Dagger

Ruin Dagger in Valorant
You can’t get the Ruin Dagger from Valorant’s store or Night Market.
  • Price: Episode 1 Act 3 Battle Pass Tier 50 reward

The Ruin Dagger was one of the primary reasons why fans grinded Episode 1 Act 3’s Battle Pass. The Ruin knife skin was the final reward of the Battle Pass and looks incredible with a black and golden design.

Despite no upgrades or variants for Ruin Dagger, the knife remains extremely popular among those who have unlocked it. Since it’s a Battle Pass reward from one of the previous Acts, you can’t add it to your collection anymore or purchase it via the in-game store.

2. RGX 11z Pro Firefly

RGX 11z pro firefly in valorant
Counter-Strike fans adore the RGX 11z Pro Firefly in Valorant.
  • Price: 4,350 VP
  • Upgrades: Randomizer
  • Variants: Red, Blue, Yellow

The RGX 11z Pro Firefly was an instant hit in Valorant after its release in Episode 4. This knife is similar to the Butterfly knives in CS2, allowing you to perform tricks with the knife in hand while inspecting.

Additionally, the knife, when upgraded, changes its colors while inspecting which is one of the most unique effects for a skin in Valorant.

1. Reaver Karambit

Reaver Karambit in Valorant
Reaver Karambit is easily one of the most popular knife skins in Valorant.
  • Price: 4,350 VP
  • Upgrades: VFX
  • Variants: Red, Black, White

The Reaver Karambit is one of the most stunning knife skins in Valorant and is a part of the Reaver 2.0 bundle that made its way into the title in Episode 5. While the Reaver 2.0 bundle was an instant success due to the massive popularity of its predecessor, its knife was the center of attention as it features a design similar to the Karambit in Counter-Strike, and incredible visual effects for weapon equip and attack.

As opposed to guns, you use your knife in every round in Valorant, and unlike gun skins, knife skins in the game cannot be dropped and picked by other players. Because you can see them in-game the most and others cannot pick them, knife skins in Valorant are quite expensive.

Additionally, knives have always been popular and some of the most expensive items in Counter-Strike. Considering Valorant is a close competitor to CS2, many in the community look forward to equipping themselves with the best knife skins.
