Valorant new weapon Outlaw: Leaked release date, gun details, more
Riot GamesValorant features over 20 Agents to choose from, along with all the various weapons that have been a part of the game since its launch. Now, leaks and rumors are surfacing about the title’s first new weapon, so here’s everything you need to know about the Outlaw in Valorant.
Valorant Episode 7 Act 3 is nearing its final weeks, and many in the community are gearing up for what’s to come with the launch of Episode 8. Riot has also introduced several balance changes throughout Episode 7, keeping the meta fresh as most players look to lock in the best Valorant Agents.
It’s quite rare that the devs need to tweak the weapons, as all the guns have been a part of the game since its release in June 2020, receiving balance changes in the first year itself.
However, leaks surfacing from the Chinese version of the game suggest that we might soon get a new weapon. Now, a few leakers are claiming a release date for the new gun Outlaw in Valorant, so if you’re looking to find out more about the weapon, here’s everything you need to know.
Valorant Outlaw Sniper expected release date
A popular leaker claims that Outlaw will launch in Valorant on January 10, 2023, with Episode 8 Act 1 going live. The new weapon was first seen back in October in a leaked video of Valorant’s Chinese version, showcasing the Valiant Hero skin bundle.
Episode 8’s kick-off will also mark the start of Premier qualifying players into the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT), so it’ll be interesting to see how the players adapt to the potentially meta-changing Outlaw Sniper’s debut in the game.
If you’re interested in learning more about the brand-new weapon Outlaw in Valorant, here are all the leaked weapon details, along with how it’ll fare against the existing weapons.
Valorant new weapon Outlaw: Price, damage & is it good?
Outlaw will reportedly be Valorant’s first new weapon since the game’s launch, and here are all its leaked details:
- Weapon type: Sniper
- Outlaw cost in the buy menu: 2,400 Creds
- Body shot damage: ~140
- Kills with headshot: Yes
Just like the Bulldog and Guardian are viable picks going against Vandals or Phantoms, especially if you’re low on money (Creds), Outlaw in Valorant will allow you to play like an Operator, enabling you to one-shot enemies running the light shields.
The Outlaw will also act as a viable pick if you’re looking to do more damage while using a Sniper but don’t have the Creds for purchasing the hefty Operator. While Marshall does only 101 damage with a body shot, the Outlaw’s rumored to inflict close to 140 damage, allowing you to take out enemies using the light armor with just a single body shot.
Many in the community believe this might result in players prioritizing the full armor. However, keep in mind that Riot might tweak the Outlaw’s stats at the time of its release in Valorant.
So there you have it! That’s all you need to know about the Outlaw coming soon into Valorant. For more content on Valorant, make sure to check out the following:
