Vanguard and Warzone Season 2 trailer

Call of Duty has dropped a brand new trailer giving players insight into what to expect throughout Vanguard and Warzone Season 2.

Following the massive Call of Duty blog post that shared the Vanguard and Warzone Season 2 roadmap, the team has now revealed a brand new cinematic trailer to get players excited about what’s to come in the new season.

The trailer showcases a number of changes and additions coming to both Vanguard Multiplayer and Warzone Pacific as well as introduces us to three new Operators expected to arrive during Season 2.

Anna Drake Season 2 Operator

The trailer opens up in what looks like an underground chemical weapons lab. Seeing as chemical warfare is heavily tied to the new season it’s no surprise to see new Operator Anna Drake front and center.

We then get a glimpse at the new content coming to Warzone including vehicles, map changes, and new field upgrades.

Warzone Season 2 new vehicles

Armored truck warzone

For starters, we get a glimpse at the Bomber Plane that is set to demolish Caldera from the sky. The trailer showcases a feature that drops massive artillery from these Bomber Planes that eviscerate anything down below, including Buy Stations and Loadout Drops.

We also got a glimpse at the new Armored Transport vehicle that will carry dangerous chemical weapons across Caldera. Players will be able to take these trucks down and loot them for valuable rewards.

New additions to Warzone Season 2

PDS field upgrade warzone

We know that Redeploy Balloons are making their way to Caldera which will offer players a new way to quickly change positioning across the map. The trailer also highlighted the new Portable Decontamination Station Field upgrade.

The image above demonstrates how the players within the range of the Field Upgrade will be protected from the deadly Nebula V gas.

Nebula V Bomb

The trailer gave us an idea of what the Nebula V Bomb will look like in Warzone Pacific Season 2. We know the Nebula V Bomb will be a very rare item that is capable of massive destruction.

The blast radius can be seen in the trailer as one is set off and it doesn’t look like players will be able to escape these nasty explosions easily.

Vanguard tanks in Season 2

Tank Vanguard

Although we know that tanks are making their way to Vanguard we don’t know how these bulky vehicles will factor in yet.

It’s safe to say that they won’t be included in traditional Multiplayer modes but a new Arms Race mode could be their ideal destination.

Vanguard Season 2 new cosmetics & killstreak

new weapon blueprint Vanguard

Of course, every new season comes with new skins, weapon blueprints, and other cosmetics that players will be able to either unlock through the Battle Pass or purchase via the Store.

There are some interesting weapon blueprints revealed in the trailer as well as some winterized Operator skins to go along with the season’s frigid atmosphere. The trailer also gives us a glimpse at the new Ball Turret Gunner killstreak and the destruction it is capable of.

Gondola & Casablanca maps Vanguard Season 2

Gondola map Vanguard

Vanguard players were crying out for new maps and their wish will be granted as Gondola and Casablanca join the rotation.

The two maps boast vastly different environments as one is covered in snow while the other showcases a desert battlefield.

That’s everything that caught our attention in the new Vanguard and Warzone Season 2 trailer. For more, check out how to unlock Whitley LMG in Vanguard & Warzone Pacific Season 2.
