Vanguard Beta cheaters can instantly end matches

Call of Duty players have reported hackers who are instantly ending matches and ruining the fun in the Vanguard open beta.

Vanguard’s open beta gives players a feel for how the game will be upon release, but it’s being plagued by hackers who are instantly ending matches and ruining the fun for players.

While Call of Duty: Vanguard is still a bit far off, fans can get a taste of the gameplay through the open beta ahead of the game’s official release on November 5. However, fans have been facing some issues with it.

Vanguard fans have previously called for big spawn improvements after trying out the open beta. A few of them are reporting hackers instantly ending matches and ruining the fun for other players.

Twitter user and streamer EasyStomps uploaded a clip that highlighted cheaters with new powers in the Vanguard beta. The player accused the cheater of using third-party software to wallhack.

The hacker then responded that he was going to end the match, and then the game instantly ended early. EasyStomps was bewildered that the cheater was capable of doing this in the open beta.

“Man you guys are terrible at this game, holy s**t, uh oh, alright, ending the game, oops, whoops,” he tweeted out.

Various players expressed their concern about this since hackers should not be able to wield power like this in Vanguard while it’s still in beta.

It can be particularly frustrating when someone instantly ends a match while other players are enjoying the game. This is an issue that the developers will need to address before the game’s release.

Hopefully, this problem will be resolved soon enough before the latest entry in the fan-favorite first-person shooter franchise is released, as this is an issue that will no doubt cause a great deal of frustration among players if it persists further in the lifespan of Call of Duty: Vanguard.

Vanguard’s Engine used by real war photojournalists to capture WW2 battles

War photojournalists were invited to use Call of Duty: Vanguard’s engine to capture photos as if they were in the WW2 battles themselves.

To showcase Call of Duty: Vanguard’s realism, Activision invited real war photojournalists Alex Potter and Sebastiano Tomada Piccolomini inside Vanguard’s engine to capture WW2 photos as if they were really there.

Photo Mode has been commonplace in video games over the past few years, allowing players to snap beautiful images of their favorite games.

Activision has taken this a step further by allowing actual war photojournalists, Alex Potter and Sebastiano Tomada Piccolomini, inside Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Game Engine to take photos as if “they were embedded within the war missions themselves.”

In support of Call of Duty Endowment, Activision invited war journalists Alex Potter and Sebastiano Tomada Piccolomini, who have reported on battles in places such as the Middle East, to go inside CoD: Vanguard’s Game Engine to capture photos of WW2 battles.

Vanguard runs on Modern Warfare (2019)’s engine, which has a strong focus on realism. In a press release via Business Wire, Activision Blizzard’s Chief Marketing Officer, Fernando Machado, said, “We tested its realism by sending in Alex Potter and Sebastiano Tomada Piccolomini with special camera-like portals into the game engine itself, which took them back in time as if they were a photographer in that period, showing how real Vanguard will truly look and feel to gamers everywhere.”

In the trailer released for the photoshoot, we can see Alex Potter and Sebastiano Tomada Piccolomini move around Activision’s motion capture studio, taking photos as if they were in the WW2 battles.

In the short film, Alex Potter explained that it “felt like they were situations that I would normally capture” and Sebastian Tomada said that “I was impressed how kinetic the game was because everything is actually happening and moving around you. This is what war looks like.”

Limited edition prints of the images that the war journalists captured will be sold at BleeckerTrading.com, with all proceeds going towards Call of Duty Endowment, Activision’s charity that helps to place veterans into “meaningful jobs.”

When does Cold War & Warzone Season 6 end? Vanguard Season 1 start date

Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 6 is set to make way for Vanguard Season 1, here’s everything we know about when it will happen.

Published

on

Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 6 is beginning to wind down, with Call of Duty: Vanguard on the horizon. We break down when the final BOCW and Warzone season ends, and the first Vanguard chapter starts.

Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 6 is going out with a bang thanks to its Halloween-themed event.

The patch notes for The Haunting have confirmed that there will be no Season 6 Reloaded, which have been commonplace over in recent months.

Now that we know that Verdansk’s final season won’t be Reloaded, when will Season 6 end and Vanguard Season 1 start?

Cold War & Warzone Season 6 end date

The sixth season of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone is due to end on Thursday, December 2, 2021.

Season 5 ended on October 7, the first Thursday of the month, and it appears that Season 6 will follow the same while sticking roughly to the two-month structure that Raven and Treyarch used previously.

As mentioned earlier, there will be no Reloaded update this time around in order to make way for the long-awaited arrival of Vanguard integration into Warzone.

This isn’t to say that Black Ops Cold War will be forgotten, as Modern Warfare has still received content updates in the last year.

Vanguard Season 1 start date

We’re expecting Season 1 of Vanguard, both in the standalone game and Warzone, to kick off in early December.

Cold War Season 6 ends on December 2, 2021, but there could be some transition time between the two like there was between Modern Warfare Season 6 and BOCW Season 1.

Vanguard will have been out nearly by this point, making it the ideal time to bring in the new Warzone map and WW2 weapons set to drop with the first season, as well as the long-awaited introduction of anti-cheat.

We’re still awaiting official confirmation on when Vanguard Season 1 will begin, so be sure to check back here for future updates.

That was everything we know so far about the transition from Black Ops Cold War into Vanguard later this year.

CoD Vanguard Zombies marketing hints at London map

Some new, interesting Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies marketing has hinted at a possible London map coming in the future.

Published

on

A London-based Zombies map could be in the pipeline for Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Zombies game mode if some new marketing is anything to go by.

Vanguard Zombies could be in for a British invasion if the newest CoD marketing hint is to be taken very literally.

Whereas Call of Duty’s online multiplayer is generally the focus of each CoD title, Zombies is usually not too far behind as the loyal fanbase continues to yearn for more Zombies maps and innovations – such as Outbreak.

Activision understands this, so as well as the already-confirmed Der Anfang map, some new Vanguard physical marketing placements could already be suggesting what the next map’s location is going to be.

Currently situated in Brick Lane East London is a cool piece of marketing to advertise the upcoming Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Vanguard.

Posted by RobMCDuk in the COD Zombies subreddit, some pictures of the interesting promotion are available.

It inevitably didn’t take long for fans to start speculating on the possibility of a new London-based Zombies map.

surfstefan said: “What if we’re finally getting a London map after all these years? That would be very funny.” Whereas another user also added: “Probably a zombified London docks for the new game mode.”

This could be a distinct possibility as it was rumored several months ago that WW2’s London Docks map would be making a return, so there’s every chance it makes a reappearance with an undead rebrand.

It should also be pointed out, however, that Sledgehammer Games have just opened a new studio in Guildford, not far from London, so it could just be a nod to that.

In any event, this is a fun bit of appreciation for Zombies to be given its own marketing like this, and we shall have to wait and see if any London-based content will happen.
