Players are using Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Goliath Field Upgrade to produce some nasty glitch trickshots.

Field Upgrades are a highly under-utilized aspect of Call of Duty: Vanguard. Most don’t bring the same game-breaking value as some of the most talked bout perks in the game.

Even so, as Vanguard continues to age, players will discover new ways to utilize these Field Upgrades.

The Goliath is one of nine Field Upgrades available in Vanguard. If you haven’t tested it yet don’t worry, you won’t be the player operating the vehicle. To make this glitch trickshot work you need a friendly player to maneuver the Goliath.

If you’re looking to try out the trickshot, you’ll need the Goliath Field upgrade and the Demolition Charge Lethal equipment. Oh, and don’t forget the skill to pull off a wild shot.

As the video below showcases, placing a Demolition Charge Lethal equipment under a friendly Goliath and detonating it while you’re standing on the vehicle will result in a trampoline-like jump. Several players who enjoy practicing trickshots have used the jump to hit a variety of absurd Sniper shots.

The Goliath Field Upgrade is available at Level 7 of Vanguard. Once unlocked, players can utilize the mechanical vehicle to take down enemies.

You can control the portable bomb vehicle for 30 seconds. It didn’t take long for players to discover that the Goliath could be used in more ways than just one.

This isn’t the first time the Goliath Field Upgrade makes waves during Vanguard’s early days. Previously, players took to voicing their opinion on the overpowered nature of the Field Upgrade.

The Goliath glitch is certainly not the first discovered by Vanguard players. Recently, Modern Warfare 2’s iconic elevator glitch has made a return to Vanguard. Sledgehammer will no doubt have a look at both glitches in the coming days with frequent patches effectively balancing the state of the game.
