A list of unreleased Vanguard game modes has been leaked by a Call of Duty dataminer, suggesting modes like Infected could be returning to the franchise.

Call of Duty: Vanguard has been a great success for the franchise since its release, with players happy about the variety of maps, weapons, and game modes.

With Vanguard on the verge of its first season and integration with Warzone, dataminers have been uncovering details about the Multiplayer. The most recent leaks have uncovered a variety of game modes that players could be seen in the game soon.

For those that don’t know, Vanguard was created using the Modern Warfare (2019)’s engine. Many have enjoyed this aspect of Vanguard, especially as its integration with Warzone should be much smoother, as it also uses the same engine.

What dataminers have found is that a lot of Modern Warfare’s content is still within the game’s files.

This isn’t anything profound or official, but it does possibly mean that we could be seeing some of that content in Vanguard.

Vanguard Infected leaks

Call of Duty dataminer sebas4412 recently revealed some of this Modern Warfare content and actually managed to get it working within Vanguard. In a tweet made on November 29, they said “lol like almost every MW mode has functionality in Vanguard, just got infected working.”

It is interesting that they were able to get Infected working, as some of the other modes found like “Tanks” and “Skulls” were unplayable. Could this potentially mean we will be seeing Infected within Vanguard’s future?

As players will know, Black Ops Cold War also had the Infected mode, but this wasn’t released until a little while after its launch.

We’ll have to wait and see what happens, but we’re sure there will be new game modes coming to Vanguard in the future, and perhaps these leaks are a hint as to what we may see.
