Sledgehammer Games have introduced another update for Call of Duty: Vanguard on March 31 that brings a variety of weapon changes and bug fixes across Multiplayer.

With the two free weeks of Vanguard officially available to players who don’t own the game, Vanguard will be hosting an abundance of new and returning players over the next two weeks.

With that being said, Sledgehammer felt it was appropriate to drop an update on March 31 to address some changes and fix a few bugs.

Without further ado, here are the Vanguard March 31 update patch notes.

Vanguard Whitley LMG nerf

Sledgehammer have adjusted the .50 BMG 150 Round Boxes magazine attachment for the Whitley LMG after realizing its power. They have now decreased the damage bonus by 32%.

Prior to this change, players were claiming that the Whitley was able to two-shot kill from considerable range with this attachment, but this should hopefully now be balanced with the new update.

  • Whitley (Light Machine Gun)
    • .50 BMG 150 Round Boxes (Magazine)
      • Decreased damage bonus (-32%).

Armaguerra Mindgames camo challenges fix

Players had been encountering an issue with the Mindgames set of camos for the Armaguerra SMG that was introduced in the Season 2 Reloaded update.

The devs have now addressed this issue in the update, claiming that it should be fixed and players should be able to complete the camo set.

  • Armaguerra 43 (Submachine Gun)
    • Addressed an issue that prevented progression of challenges in the Mindgames camo category.

Quick Play Filter & Combat Pacing fix

The devs also addressed an ongoing issue with the Quick Play Filter and Combat Pacing, which would automatically reset after coming out of a match.

Now, players should have their filter saved so that they can head straight back into the game modes and Combat Pacing of their preference.

“Combat Pacing and Quick Play Filter selections will no longer be reset after returning to the Main Menu.”
