Vanguard Zombies: Fastest way to earn Weapon XP

Published

Zombies mode in Vanguard

Many players will look to Vanguard Zombies in order to gain Weapon XP, as it can be a great place to level up your weapons fast for use in Multiplayer and Warzone.

As many will know, Black Ops Cold War Zombies was great for gaining Weapon XP, with some techniques even making it much faster than in Multiplayer.

With that being said, players have already found great ways to gain Weapon XP fast in Vanguard Zombies, allowing players to level up their weapons efficiently.

YouTuber Dirtrider478 broke down exactly how Weapon XP works in Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies in their latest video.

Essentially, the way you gain Weapon XP in Vanguard Zombies is very different from Cold War. The amount you can gain decreases every time you hit a certain amount of kills. For example, once you hit 20 kills, the amount of Weapon XP you gain from a kill is decreased.

Further, the amount you gain also changes depending on how many people you are playing with, and which objectives you are completing on Der Anfang.

The best strategy to gain Weapon XP the fastest in Vanguard Zombies is as follows:

  • First off, make sure you are playing with multiple friends, preferably 4. This will increase the percantage of Weapon XP gained by 110%.
  • Then, start a game on Annfang and enter a Transit objective portal all together. You need all players to enter the same portal or you will not recieve the max XP Weapon multiplier.
  • Whoever the host is, select a weapon for camo grinding and start getting kills. For those in the game who aren’t the host, get 20 kills in the objective and leave the game.
  • Join the game again and repeat the process, as joining back will reset your 20 kill progress and give you the maxium amount of Weapon XP per kill.

With four players, one being the host, players who are getting the 20 kills each time they join back can expect to gain 32,000 Weapon XP per hour. You would need to get 32 kills per game in Multiplayer just to match these XP rates.

Further, if you use a double weapon XP token before doing this, you can get up to 64,000 Weapon XP per hour, which is insane.

So, if you’re looking to level up your STG44 or Sten extremely fast so that you can get to the high-level attachments quickly, this Vanguard Zombies strategy is one of the best ways to do so.

Warzone Pacific & Vanguard Season 2 officially delayed

Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 2 has officially been delayed after devs share community update.

Published

It seems the Call of Duty devs have got a lot on their plate at the moment, causing them to delay the release of Warzone Pacific & Vanguard Season 2.

Warzone & Vanguard have had a lot of updates over the past couple of weeks, including the mid-season patch which looked to solve a lot of the game’s performance issues.

Despite improvements and better communication from the devs when it comes to sharing what they’re working on, Season 2 has been officially delayed to give them more time to work on fixes.

Call of Duty announced over on Twitter that Season 2 of Warzone and Vanguard has officially been delayed from the February 1 released date to February 14.

With all the crazy news coming out recently regarding Microsoft’s plans to purchase Activision, which includes Call of Duty, this probably won’t come as much of a shock to the community, especially given all the current performance issues.

While the devs recognize that they have “deployed a number of updates” recently to fix the issues, including a fix for the freezing Buy Station bug, they also recognize “that more needs to be done.”

The main reason for Season 2 of Warzone and Vanguard being delayed is in order for the devs to continue improving the gameplay experience. Many players will likely be happy that the season is being delayed, as another big update to the game might just cause even more issues and further frustration.

As more information is released regarding Season 2 of Vanguard and Warzone Pacific, we’ll be sure to cover it. For now, check out how much money Warzone makes.

Vanguard Season 1 end date

Vanguard Season 1’s mid-season update is live, with the season set to end on February 14, 2022 after a delay was announced via the Call of Duty Twitter account.

As of now, it remains to be seen if the delay will push the Season 1 Battle Pass expiry date to February 14 but we’ll be sure to update this section when we have more information.

Vanguard Season 2 release date & time

Following the announcement of a slight delay, Vanguard Season 2 is expected to begin on February 14 as opposed to February 1.

Significant Call of Duty updates usually arrive at 9 PM PT / 12 AM ET / 5 AM GMT, but Sledgehammer Games should provide an exact time nearer the date.

What’s included in Vanguard Season 2?

Sledgehammer Games haven’t announced everything they have in store for Season 2 yet, but we can take an educated guess based on previous seasons’ content.

Vanguard Season 2 Zombies content

Vanguard’s Zombies mode has been slammed by the community for its lack of classic features, but developers Treyarch provided an update ahead of the mid-Season 1 update.

They revealed that they’ll finally bring the Main Quest Easter Egg in Season 2, add “multiple Wonder Weapons,” and bring players to “the Dark Aether itself in a completely original location crafted for Vanguard Zombies.”

Here’s everything Treyarch teased for Vanguard Zombies Season 2:

  • New hub map
  • Dark Aether-themed map

How to fix Vanguard’s “right stick not working” glitch

Here’s how you can quickly fix the CoD: Vanguard glitch that causes the right stick to stop working on your controller.

Published

on

A major Call of Duty: Vanguard glitch is causing the right stick to completely stop working mid-game for controller players, but thankfully, there is a way you can quickly fix it.

Vanguard players have had to deal with their fair share of bugs and glitches. These all have different effects on the game, such as making the High Alert perk stronger despite receiving a nerf, or letting players levitate.

Now, players that use controllers are encountering a new issue that causes the right stick to stop working. This leaves them with nothing to do but to keep running straight ahead, putting them at a serious disadvantage with no ability to aim.

Here’s how you can get around this Vanguard glitch.

Vanguard’s “right stick not working” glitch

The right stick glitch occurs when CoD: Vanguard automatically changes your input settings from controller to mouse and keyboard. This causes your controller to disconnect mid-game.

Once the controller reconnects, the right stick stops working entirely. This prevents you from looking around and aiming. Instead, all you’ll be able to do is keep running forward and shooting.

How to fix Vanguard’s “right stick not working” glitch

The first way to get around this glitch is to hit right on your controller’s D-pad. This button helps the game detect that the player is using a controller to play instead of a mouse and keyboard.

If this doesn’t work, then there are other methods that you can try out. Some players have reported that the right stick issue gets fixed after getting killed. This can ruin the match, but you’ll regain control of your Operator.

The final method that you can try out is to turn off the game altogether. Booting CoD: Vanguard back up will cause your controller to function properly again. You should also make sure that your controller is fully charged.
