The infamous demon gun visual glitch that has frustrated Warzone players with limited vision in the past has now made its way to Vanguard.

The demon gun glitch has a special place in Warzone glitch lore as the instantly recognizable spiky textures send players into fits of rage. Recently we’ve seen the immensely popular bug even make its way to Halo Infinite for a crossover that nobody asked for.

Now it seems the bug is intent on ruining the Multiplayer experience for Vanguard players as it appeared for the first time and subsequently made the game unplayable due to obscured vision.

For the time being, the issue seems to be prominent for PC players following the January 11 update. This is the latest in a long line of bugs to plague the Vanguard Multiplayer experience since launch.

Fatal_Overflow took to the Vanguard subreddit to share a clip of the ongoing issue. In Warzone it was common for the glitch to ruin the appearance of weapons but in this case, the issue in Vanguard seems to distort Multiplayer maps.

It’s clear to see how Shoot House is transformed into a mass of demon-like textures that makes taking down enemy players nearly impossible. With the game in this state, it’s difficult to imagine PC players dedicating hours to Multiplayer matches.

A community member offers a temporary fix for PC players in the comments of the post, “Revert your Nvidia driver to the December version. The January one is causing this for all pc players”.

Hopefully, Sledgehammer Games looks into the issue immediately as claims that this bug is occurring on console can also be found in the comments of the post which increases the number of players experiencing game-ruining glitches.

As of now, the bug is yet to appear on Sledgehammer’s Trello board but we’ll be sure to provide an update when the demon gun glitch is addressed.

For now check out, when players can expect CoD: Vanguard Season 2 and the Season 1 end date.
