Vanguard’s Gold Mastery Camo has been “ruined” in Warzone
Warzone players claim Raven Software “ruined” Vanguard weapons’ Gold Mastery Camo by changing the design in a recent update.
Warzone players were delighted with Vanguard weapons’ white and gold Mastery Camo design, but the devs changed the design in the mid-Season 1 update and players claim they “ruined” it.
Gold Camo has long been the way for Call of Duty players to prove they’ve mastered a weapon, and Warzone is no different. Players were racing to get as many Vanguard weapons Gold and Diamond as possible ahead of the Warzone integration, and many were delighted with the battle royale’s unique take on the Gold Camo.
Rather than Vanguard’s black and gold design, Warzone featured gold with a swirling white overlay. However, the mid-Season 1 update changed it to Vanguard’s Gold, and players claim it “ruined” the camo.
It’s likely that Vanguard weapons’ white and gold design was an unintended texture bug that was fixed with Warzone’s mid-Season 1 update, yet it has split the community.
Popular Warzone YouTuber JGOD shared a side-by-side view of the new and old camo, saying “they really ruined the way the Vanguard Gold Camo looks in Warzone.”
YouTuber KRNG Hero revealed when the change happened: “they changed it since the mid season update and I’m like, why?”
Like why are they even changing this stuff? I just don’t understand why any manpower is being put towards working on THIS instead of the bugs.

The post was met with a ton of disappointed replies, with CoD content creator LoochyTV asking: “Why are they even changing this stuff? I just don’t understand why any manpower is being put towards working on THIS instead of the bugs.”
“Why do they change things that don’t need to be touched,” echoed LensEffect. “Like all these problems and they’re worried about the gold camo appearance.”

Not everyone preferred the old design though, with one player saying they prefer the new design because “it looks more like gold in Vanguard.” Another said that “the black and gold looks so much better, that white just looked cheap.”
Sorry agree to disagree the black and gold looks so much better, that white just looked cheap.

Raven Software have plenty of major issues listed in their Trello board such as Xbox players being unable to play and the dreaded Buy Station freeze glitch, so it’s unlikely they’ll change the camo back any time soon. But, you can never truly know what Raven have in store.

Bizarre Vanguard glitch is making players spontaneously combust
CoD Vanguard players have discovered a strange glitch them causes them to catch on fire completely at random.
A bizarre new glitch has appeared in Vanguard Season 3 Reloaded, causing players to randomly burst into flames in the middle of a match.
The Vanguard community has seen its fair share of different bugs and glitches that have bizarre effects on their gameplay experience, such as turning players into Spider-man or causing them to punch themselves in the face.
Now, another problem has presented itself following the arrival of the Season 3 Reloaded update, as a strange glitch is causing Vanguard players to spontaneously catch on fire during battles.
Reddit user ‘r/Sleepy’ highlighted this glitch in a clip posted in the Vanguard subreddit. It shows the player securing multiple kills while running around the map, only to combust into flames seemingly at random.
The kill cam in the clip showed that there was no explosive around them when they caught on fire, so it was extremely confusing why this happened. The Redditor jokingly asked if they’d been hit by an “invisible Molotov.”
Many of the commenters found this glitch amusing as well, with one user sarcastically writing: “Just a little spontaneous combustion.” Another player added: “Pardon me while I burst into flames.”
These types of glitches tend to pop up whenever the developers implement a major update in Vanguard, and a fix for them often arrives through another update once it becomes a major issue.
It’s unclear what exactly caused this glitch to occur, and it doesn’t seem to be a widespread issue at the time of writing. For that reason, it remains to be seen whether or not Sledgehammer Games will investigate the matter.

We’re kicking off the best Vanguard H4 Blixen loadout with the Recoil Booster to increase the SMGs fire rate and the Bergstrom 17″ F3 barrel to increase its accuracy and keep it under control.
You can choose whatever optic you prefer, but the Slate Reflector is a solid choice for the H4 Blixen. Next, the Karlsson Padded Coz stock and m1941 Hand Stop will make the Blixen even more accurate, allowing it to be much more versatile.
Combining the 9mm 72 Round Mags and Lengthened ammo will give you enough bullets to take down several enemies, and Lengthened’s faster bullet velocity will lower its time to kill.
These attachments weigh down the H4 Blixen, so using the Fabric Grip, Fleet Proficiency, and Quick Kit will make you extremely mobile.

A perfectly cooked Frag Grenade is a powerful tool, and the Stun Grenade will slow enemies down allowing you to easily get the kill.

On May 24 the Season 3 Reloaded update for Vanguard went live, and while new content like the H4 Blixen and Sphere map is exciting, there was yet another surprise hidden in the update.
It turns out data miners have leaked in-game Vanguard files that provide information concerning Modern Warfare 2 editions. These files have shed light on what each edition could bring to the table, as well as which platform will get early access to the MW2 Open beta later this year.

Standard Edition content
- Modern Warfare 2

It seems all three pre-order editions grant players early access to the open beta, and we’ll keep you posted once we know when pre-orders commence and when the beta will occur. The cross-gen bundle also confirms that MW2 will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
Another key piece of information revealed by this leak is that PS4 and PS5 players will receive access to the open beta first. We already know that PlayStation exclusivity will not last forever, once the Microsoft deal to acquire Activision officially goes through, but at the moment it is good news for PlayStation players.
You’ll have to discern which edition is right for you, but there’s no denying that the Vault Edition comes with a ton of interesting Operator and weapon cosmetics. In addition, the 50 Battle Pass Tier Skips and double weapon XP will be valuable as you attempt to level up early on.
