Warzone 2 players find hidden underwater loot spots in Al Mazrah

Call of Duty: Warzone 2’s Al Mazrah battle royale contains all sorts of weird and wonderful locations and secrets, as well as underwater loot hidden out of sight.

One of the biggest differences between Warzone and Warzone 2, aside from obvious ones such as new circle mechanics and Proximity Chat, is the return of swimming in CoD battle royale.

The mechanic featured heavily in Black Ops 4, the series’ first attempt at the battle royale genre, and Al Mazrah has ushered in the era of swimming once more.

With a refined loot system, Warzone 2 players have already been scouring the map to see what top-tier landing spots they can find. It turns out that not all loot is consigned to the surface though, as a game featuring Ninja revealed a hidden spot.

Swimming is useful for players looking to hide from enemies, ambush other players, or simply transition from one area of the map to another.

It can also net you some useful resources during battle royale too, and in a game featuring Ninja, Cloakzy, timthetatman, and CouRageJD, the squad stumbled across an underwater cache.

CouRage was under the water and exclaimed that there was a “hidden loot cache at the bottom here” and that it contained “3 armor plates and a Precision Airstrike.”

That was just this particular cache too, meaning that others could house vast sums of cash and other useful items to help you on your way.

We don’t expect these hidden storage chests to contain a Loadout, but if you’re in a jam and desperately in need of loot, then it might be worth taking a swim to see what you can unearth.

Now that you know about Warzone 2’s hidden underwater caches, why not check out the Warzone 2 glitch instantly killing players without being downed?
